That SA mine could be disrupted for months, and if there is loss of life it could trigger serious reforms in mining, higher wages, tighter safety, and generally higher costs for all SA miners.

Or worse, the mines could be confiscated or closed.

So the new report required (a statutory requirement) was most probably discussed early new year with the Chinese on site . So any delay at MT May not be due Financing problem but bcs they are waiting for new report to be compiled And approved by authorities before sinosteel puts the money? No idea, We need news. Eua is paying for this report + surveys

Today AB Twitter message suggest authorities are very burocratic , short of he blames them. CS can’t speak bad about the authorities in public...so his messages are vague for that reason???? It could offer a valid explanation for MT delays, or no? What do you think??

Was never really convinced by sxx due to the huge debt and huge shortfall of required cash, and today's announcement doesn't really fix the problem. The banks have complete control thru convertible bonds as far as I can see.

From a chartist point of view, we are in a nice upwards channel. It's a comfortable channel at the moment so, besides a little bit of volitility, I'm quite compformtalbe sitting on the side line and weighting.

We haven't dropped below the moving target yet. If we drop below that, I would be on 'alert'.
