25/5/2014 15:49 | Spec, Thanks for your commiserations, but luckily no. I haven't had a bust since about 2009. I just think it's all too jolly, especially those overvalued IPOs; I am getting uncomfortable. I am usually (far) too early , so the circus will go on for a while. I just like to be in nothing but cash from time to time. | zastas
24/5/2014 11:34 | Not due to the rest going bust I hope zastas ;) Been doing a lot of culling here too - moving to Linkers etc. | spectoacc
24/5/2014 10:38 | Thanks for noticing it; it had skipped me. Must be another pay-out coming. Soon ERII will be my only share holding left. | zastas

13/2/2014 09:54 | Rather a disproportionate jump yesterday; the announced divi is less, but good again. It just keeps throwing off cash without much reduction in the asset values, albeit that these as volatile and imprecise to measure. | zastas

20/9/2013 18:25 | Many thanks, now I do not need to talk/email. Interesting difference between brokers though; Holts should be pleased. | zastas
20/9/2013 15:04 | spoke to tdw - close of play Monday for the credit to a/c | insipiens
20/9/2013 13:02 | No sign yet. Selftrade-NWSB/TDW: 3-0 | zastas
19/9/2013 12:34 | Still waiting on tdw, unsurprisingly. may call them later.... | insipiens
19/9/2013 11:58 | Fair enough. For small amounts not worth it, but then you/we have to expect retail prices, not wholesale ones for conversions. Well, Holts ( and others), there are advantages of having Selftrade: I assume you have already 2 days the cash- albeit in GBP - in your account but I am still waiting with my NatWest one, still not visible at this moment. I am not worried though . it will turn up again as before. I used to have an account with Self, or more precisely their predecessors, Comdirect, then Squaregain, and then Selftrade. I loved their (=Comdirect) admin, and the liquidity of illiquid bits , such as the splits.....the good old days! But I left when I found the limitations with their exclusive RSP dealing, leaving orders stranded when the RSPs could and can just turn down the NMS. And single currency only ofcourse. | zastas
18/9/2013 18:22 | Don't have enough coming in in Euros to justify , thanks for the idea though, if they used the credit card wholesale rate it would be better. | holts
18/9/2013 16:26 | Move to a broker which as multi-currency cash accounts. Such as TDW or NatWest. No conversions unless requested. | zastas
18/9/2013 15:57 | crooks at selftrade have settled at 1.2140 exchange rate | holts
15/8/2013 14:30 | What is the current NAV here? | horndean eagle
15/8/2013 14:25 | More distribution of money announced on 13/8/13 with compulsory partial redemption. | zastas
05/8/2013 08:24 | see that in this morning's announcement of portfolio for July 31 of the residual income portfolio valuation the valuation as at June 30 dirty value is now E13m compared to the valuation as at March 31 of E14.3m; given that cash remain at E1.1m I assume something has happened to their portfolio that has caused them to reduce the values of their holding. | cerrito |
