09/9/2013 08:29 | In many countries, these 'Gov 2.0' projects have their Post Office networks positioned as the front office for Govt to citizen to business interaction/transact | knackers
09/9/2013 08:11 | Yes Knackers once the contracts for the interactive services start to flow in these will take off imv. The interested parties are there waiting imv. | battlebus2
09/9/2013 08:03 | A mouthwatering set of interims...and should continue the re-rate especially with USPS services revenues now kicking in. Also like the reference to Interactive Services which they continue to invest in. Blatant ref to "tenders" would suggest this capability is fully baked and right up there with the big boys. Statement oozes confidence. Think we can look forward to further newsflow...perhaps a rev upgrade ;o) | knackers
09/9/2013 07:25 | Results as expected with lots of growth to come from the UP postal roll out and the interactive side taking on new staff and investing further. All to look forward too here imv. | battlebus2

04/9/2013 10:50 | Am keen to understand more about the interactive services they've been developing, BB. Their service platform strategy is not a million miles away from BYOD vendor, Globo (great looking little business). Globo exploiting the proliferation of smartphones and tablets for remote working; Escher for mobile payment and loyalty... If they can piggy-back on their traditional partners in post (around the world), the potential channel leverage for Escher is there for the taking. Further, the strength of Escher's core business is a notable positive underpinning these new mkts / areas of future growth. | knackers
04/9/2013 09:18 | A tick up or two before results perhaps. | battlebus2
02/9/2013 14:07 | Yes very good, results will be very interesting this time around. | battlebus2

28/8/2013 10:30 | Results the 9th September. | battlebus2
15/8/2013 22:00 | Have spotted an interesting connection between mobile/next gen identity management technology and Escher - could that be something Escher are weaving into their new offer..? NZ post has been running a pilot though not certain if that involves Escher. One for the future but increasingly obvious that Escher are up to some interesting and cutting edge BD work to help Posts reinvent their propositions to better connect Govts with communities and their citizens. Certainly no shortage of opportunity in this sector that's looking to radically [and urgently] re-model its offering. | knackers
09/8/2013 09:46 | Hey Ed, I think they've been badly misread, but that was as much IQE's fault as the markets not reading the tea-leaves correctly. To be fair to the analysts and commentators, whilst their technology is very sound, I think IQE have suffered from a seriously malfunctioning PR/Comms/Marketing team. The IQE narrative has been vague, grey and cloudy for some time...perhaps as the new strategy has only really come together in the last 6 months I guess allowances could be made for that, but as the story was developing the Exec should have been more transparent and proactive. I gather they now have a new PR man advising them. Now, as a techie one doesn't invest in a PR guru unless there's a story to be told... I'm expecting further news to accompany Sept interims. All eyes on the photo-CPV area. Yesterday's RNS (mass production validated by Solar Junction) provides an obvious enough pointer for what we can expect. PR advisors practising this dark art tend to favour a thunderstorm approach to comms rather than dribble stuff out in piecemeal fashion... Could get lively in the coming days/weeks, IQE does have a pretty loyal band of followers. When it moves...it moves! 40p+ target. | knackers
08/8/2013 14:06 | knackers -what's the scoop on iqe? | edwardt
