23/8/2016 15:43 | Another day with no news. | markhowes
23/8/2016 01:03 | Yeah i've been looking out for them too. Check later today. Tracking analyst recommendations and target prices may be an important part of stock analysis, but investors and analysts will most likely be keeping a watchful eye on company earnings reports as well. Covering analysts are currently expecting the company to report EPS of $0.14 for the quarter. For the last quarter, Eros International PLC (NYSE:EROS) reported an earnings per share actual of $0. This actual number came in $-0.02 off of the Zacks Research consensus estimate. The resulting surprise factor was -100%. The company is next projected to report earnings results on or around 2016-08-23. | smurfy2001
22/8/2016 21:50 | Understood that 1st Quarter results were due last week but so far nothing. Emailed EROS Investor Relations for an update but they couldn't be bothered to respond. Maybe I've got it wrong and results weren't due but if they were but haven't been then that's a cause for concern?? | markhowes
20/8/2016 09:50 | smurfy I've been away so only saw your posts yesterday. Thanks for the heads up on the IR and also on your progress with iii. Was able to finally get rid of them yesterday afternoon after a brief discussion with an iii drone, citing your success. I'll be closing that account forthwith! Really appreciate your communication throughout this period. All the best | bishan bedi
18/8/2016 20:45 | "In light of both poor EROS fundamentals and deepening accounting concerns, we are surprised that EROS's stock is up 45% in the last few months since our initial note". So yes - 45% down on their short. Personally I don't mind them digging around looking for dirt - perversely serves to keep the company honest. If they're not honest, I'd rather it came out. But struggling to see the allegations as that serious even if true. Market seems to agree - shares currently down less than 1%. | spectoacc
18/8/2016 18:52 | Yeah they seemed frustrated. | smurfy2001
18/8/2016 17:56 | smurfy just a re hash of their previous work in June, must be well down on their short. | lonrho
12/8/2016 16:17 | LATEST UPDATE ON INTERACTIVE INVESTOR CREST ISSUE Today l was able to liquidate my holding @ $17.96 for 63% profit. Weaker sterling has really helped with the profit. This is after years of being stuck due to not being trade via CREST or transfer out to a certificate. Thankfully l have a new broker where l can now buy back the stock. Such a relief. Cheers | smurfy2001
08/8/2016 14:18 | I echo SpectoAcc. Thanks Rivaldo. | foot in mouth
08/8/2016 14:13 | Thanks @rivaldo, posts not going unread, contrary to appearances :) | spectoacc
08/8/2016 12:12 | Dishoom is now above 100 crore globally - not bad against a 55 crore budget, and that's not including any pre-sales income plus other TV and licensing to come: | rivaldo
02/8/2016 11:01 | Dishoom doing well globally: "'Dishoom' earns Rs 65 cr worldwide in opening weekend New Delhi | Tuesday, Aug 2 2016 IST Action thriller 'Dishoom' has taken an en excellent start at the box office, earning agross figure of Rs 65 crore at the box office worldwide in its opening weekend, the producers of the film said. While the film has grossed Rs 51.13 crore on its opening weekend in India, it has collected approximately two million US Dollars (Rs 13.35 crore) in the overseas region, taking its worldwide gross in the opening weekend to Rs 64.47 crore.... .....'Dishoom' performed well in the overseas markets too, debuting at No. 10 in the UK charts and featuring at No. 18 in the US Top 20. Commenting on the film's performance, Nandu Ahuja, Sr. VP, India Theatrical, Eros International Media Ltd said, "The wholesome entertainer has re-introduced the buddy-cop genre to Bollywood and has received a thumbs up both from the audiences and the critics. The film has proved to be a winner, bringing in good box office numbers from both multiplexes and single screens across India, sustaining very well despite the rough weather and bandh in parts of south India". Pranab Kapadia, President - Marketing and Distribution, Eros International Plc,added, "Dishoom has had a good start in the overseas markets too and we are anticipating a good run during the week as well. With the Arab flavor to the film, the film has performed especially well in the Middle East regions." | rivaldo
01/8/2016 12:15 | EROS' latest, Dishoom, has had a very good opening weekend at the box office, making over 37 crore: And this sounds very good for EROS: "According to blogger/critic Komal Nahta, worldwide distributor Eros International recouped a bit less than 50% of its 65 crore ($9.7 million) investment from the sales of satellite rights and can expect to fully recoup from India and international theatrical revenues and the sale of digital rights. Nahta predicted, “Dishoom will emerge victorious at the box office. The entertainer will keep its producers, distributors and exhibitors happy." | rivaldo
18/7/2016 17:47 | bishan bedi - Email: vanisha.dhimer@erosi I have also emailed her more the merrier. Apparently it's upto EROS. There are no options via the broker unless EROS turnaround and allow the stock to be traded via CREST. My next step is the financial ombudsman. Luckily my investment is nothing to lose sleep over but l don't understand why they were not transferred to certified form as per note in the FAQ "At such time, shareholders who continue to hold our A ordinary shares through CREST will either receive certificated shares or, if eligible, may wish to transfer the shares into U.S. brokerage accounts." Waiting for a response from EROS. | smurfy2001
12/7/2016 09:35 | Interesting comment in particular about ErosNow perhaps being spun off separately for an IPO in future: | rivaldo
12/7/2016 09:34 | Hi Smurfy The recent rise has re-ignited my interest in getting them transferred out. It's only about £5k, so I am loath to pay £200 quid to iweb for them to tell me the CREST transfer doesn't work. So any updates on progress you make would be appreciated. I hadn't considered the certificate option, would you mind letting me know how you get on? Cheers | bishan bedi
12/7/2016 00:48 | Believe it or not folks my stock is still stuck with interactive investor :( Not been able to transfer out or sell. Getting an update on the transfer out and will see if it's possible to get it transferred to a certificate as a last try. Otherwise i'm going to need to take it with the financial ombudsman. | smurfy2001
11/7/2016 23:08 | Doing rather well :o)) I suspect the EROSNOW figures in the results may have caught some people's attention. I also noticed this showing that Paradice Investment Management have increased their holding to 2.39m shares from under 2m: | rivaldo
11/7/2016 17:16 | Been moving up nicely recently. | boonboon
30/6/2016 11:47 | Looing good chart-wise after the good results. Great news on cash flows and debt reduction, which seems to be what the market was looking for primarily. And this report indicates that EROS easily bear expectations on Q4 revenues: With Housefull 3 having been a success, this Q1 should also show good numbers. | rivaldo
28/6/2016 21:18 | Thanks @boonboon. | spectoacc |
