Tracking analyst recommendations and target prices may be an important part of stock analysis, but investors and analysts will most likely be keeping a watchful eye on company earnings reports as well. Covering analysts are currently expecting the company to report EPS of $0.14 for the quarter. For the last quarter, Eros International PLC (NYSE:EROS) reported an earnings per share actual of $0. This actual number came in $-0.02 off of the Zacks Research consensus estimate. The resulting surprise factor was -100%. The company is next projected to report earnings results on or around 2016-08-23.

Understood that 1st Quarter results were due last week but so far nothing. Emailed EROS Investor Relations for an update but they couldn't be bothered to respond.

Maybe I've got it wrong and results weren't due but if they were but haven't been then that's a cause for concern??

I've been away so only saw your posts yesterday. Thanks for the heads up on the IR and also on your progress with iii.

Was able to finally get rid of them yesterday afternoon after a brief discussion with an iii drone, citing your success. I'll be closing that account forthwith!

"In light of both poor EROS fundamentals and deepening accounting concerns, we are surprised that EROS's stock is up 45% in the last few months since our initial note".

So yes - 45% down on their short.

Personally I don't mind them digging around looking for dirt - perversely serves to keep the company honest. If they're not honest, I'd rather it came out.

But struggling to see the allegations as that serious even if true. Market seems to agree - shares currently down less than 1%.

LATEST UPDATE ON INTERACTIVE INVESTOR CREST ISSUE

Today l was able to liquidate my holding @ $17.96 for 63% profit. Weaker sterling has really helped with the profit.

This is after years of being stuck due to not being trade via CREST or transfer out to a certificate.

Thankfully l have a new broker where l can now buy back the stock.

Such a relief.

Dishoom is now above 100 crore globally - not bad against a 55 crore budget, and that's not including any pre-sales income plus other TV and licensing to come:

EROS' latest, Dishoom, has had a very good opening weekend at the box office, making over 37 crore:



And this sounds very good for EROS:



"According to blogger/critic Komal Nahta, worldwide distributor Eros International recouped a bit less than 50% of its 65 crore ($9.7 million) investment from the sales of satellite rights and can expect to fully recoup from India and international theatrical revenues and the sale of digital rights. Nahta predicted, “Dishoom will emerge victorious at the box office. The entertainer will keep its producers, distributors and exhibitors happy."

I have also emailed her more the merrier.

Apparently it's upto EROS. There are no options via the broker unless EROS turnaround and allow the stock to be traded via CREST.

My next step is the financial ombudsman.


Luckily my investment is nothing to lose sleep over but l don't understand why they were not transferred to certified form as per note in the FAQ


"At such time, shareholders who continue to hold our A ordinary shares through CREST will either receive certificated shares or, if eligible, may wish to transfer the shares into U.S. brokerage accounts."

The recent rise has re-ignited my interest in getting them transferred out. It's only about £5k, so I am loath to pay £200 quid to iweb for them to tell me the CREST transfer doesn't work.

So any updates on progress you make would be appreciated.

I hadn't considered the certificate option, would you mind letting me know how you get on?

Believe it or not folks my stock is still stuck with interactive investor :(

Not been able to transfer out or sell.

Getting an update on the transfer out and will see if it's possible to get it transferred to a certificate as a last try.

Otherwise i'm going to need to take it with the financial ombudsman.

I suspect the EROSNOW figures in the results may have caught some people's attention.

Looing good chart-wise after the good results.

Great news on cash flows and debt reduction, which seems to be what the market was looking for primarily.

And this report indicates that EROS easily bear expectations on Q4 revenues:



With Housefull 3 having been a success, this Q1 should also show good numbers.
