10/5/2016 16:11 | It's all go today..... "David Cameron calls Nigeria and Afghanistan 'fantastically corrupt'" | 2lb
10/5/2016 12:21 | GD2 - pretty much sums it up. The Peak stuff is a farce and a con. Court orders and laws mean nothing in Nigeria and are totally unenforceable, you just need to know the right people and pay the going bribe rate on the day. Should have been dealt with years ago - any resources down there will have fossilised before it gets resolved.... Any company in, or with any links to Nigeria should be barred from any and all international stock exchanges. | 2lb
10/5/2016 12:14 | The management of energy group, Oando Plc, on Tuesday informed the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) that the date for the conclusion of its proposed plan merger with Oando Exploration and Production Holdings Limited, its Canada-based subsidiary has been further extended to May 31, 2016. | 2lb
09/5/2016 12:16 | When Peak go's to court, who is it that actually walks thru the door to represent Peak, who is this gentleman? does anyone know his name? | astorcourt
06/5/2016 11:54 | Yes the brown envelopes that are passed around to make sure this always remains on the back burner! This, along with everything else, will never be resolved fairly - all a bunch of crooks! | captain kod

27/4/2016 17:33 | Having waited 8 odd years for a return, might be entertaining, amusing and interesting to some but to many it wasn't! The hormonal out spoken posters kept this board as much alive, as those with the various nearly there updates, nuke threats and nuke deadline posts. None of it seems to have made any difference and only another 2 year wait ahead of us, before exactly what????????. With OER delisting from the TSX, I wonder if this is another MOIL in the making. Out of sight out of mind. | whowants2bamilionare
27/4/2016 15:54 | Whats the wages for a non exec on the BOD MR.K.Did this get discussed at all? | tom rigger
27/4/2016 15:48 | CC just in the nick of time to quell the whinging minorities.More of a convenience call than a conference call ;) * A Non Executive Director is to be appointed to the Equator Board upon the conclusion of OER delisting fromn the TSX. This process is expected to seek shareholder approval, prior to any appointment. im voting for geordie as i need some new updates ;) | tom rigger
27/4/2016 10:12 | We are all in the same boat GD2, ffs stop moaning all the time. | muto
27/4/2016 09:12 | and when the oil price is back up there will be some political upheaval in Venezualiastan. or another boardroom reshuffle somewhere in the world. If anyone still think they'll get something out of this can you let me know what pills you're taking, I could really take some happy delusion right now. | geordieduke2
26/4/2016 23:35 | thank you mr k for your update much appreciated | gunner71
26/4/2016 22:50 | Thanks for update Mr.K/SLG Team. This may sound odd/strange to the hormonal posters who continually moan & complain on this thread, but this particular "investment" has been more entertaining, amusing & interesting than every other investment I have owned over the last 30 years...and although many on here think Oando will never cough-up/return any form of payment to the EEL minorities...I on the other hand believe Oando are trying very hard indeed to work EEL's valuable assets in a very difficult working environment [low oil prices /Peak nonsense etc] to create value for ALL EEL shareholders, including themselves!!!! Patience is key. Regards, Gpmh1 | gpmh1

26/4/2016 20:14 | A conference call between the SLG Team, along with Mr Pade Durotoye (OER CEO) & Mr Philip Dimmock took place on Monday afternoon. The key points of the call are as folllows: * Equator debt position currently under review. * A Non Executive Director is to be appointed to the Equator Board upon the conclusion of OER delisting fromn the TSX. This process is expected to seek shareholder approval, prior to any appointment. * A seismic program is due to start in Q1 of 2017 by Kosmos, which will incorporate Equator's block 12 along with Block 6 & 11. The data will be reviewed & prospects determined for a 2018 drilling campaign. * OPL 321 & 323, dialogue with KNOC had slowed down, due to the appointment of a key senior board members. Communication has recently restarted. * Peak OML 122: The deadline issued has expired. Equator / OER are currently exploring the possibility of offering Peak a financing solution, beneficial to all stakeholders. The enforcement of the winding up order held by Equator, would simply mean that the licence would revert back to the Nigerian Government, which in effect would be comparable to commercial hari kari. * There is not expected to be any offer made to the minorities in the near term, and an option not pursued by the SLG team at present, due to the current depressed oil price, added further by the early development stage of EEZ blocks 5 & 12. regards, Mr K. | mrkeysersoze
