16/3/2015 10:09 | IC tipped ENTU last week and I think that might have attracted interest in the sector. Edit: Both from the Zeus stable if memory serves. | lord gnome
16/3/2015 10:04 | Nice consolidation after the profit-taking; indicators now turning up. Quite good disparate buying this morning - 125k so far. Has there perhaps been a mention somewhere over the weekend... free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship

02/3/2015 20:49 | Ty for the reply Speed. Very, very enticing dividend. Just missed out in the recent spike down. If it happens again I will try to take advantage of it. | mdara
02/3/2015 20:17 | Mdara - i have already taken a position in EPWN | speedsgh
02/3/2015 18:48 | Speedsgh Are you considering buying in here (if not already invested) and at what price? | mdara
02/3/2015 15:26 | Still well entrenched in the downtrend. Hoping that it doesn't make a lower low this round. Looks like markets will need Finals Results (or a leak of them) before change of trend direction. | speedsgh
02/3/2015 13:57 | Looks like waiting till the next set of results and dividend announcement. | redartbmud
02/3/2015 13:37 | Bought back in for a few @ 91.85p... | skyship
23/2/2015 11:50 | Where next for EPWN? I know that quite a few of us got on board EPWN recently; and all seem to have done better than I did – my timing wasn’t the best, especially as I failed to average down into that absurd spike down to 82p! Having recovered all the way back up to 100p Bid; the share price has met resistance and softened over recent days. One possible scenario might be for a 38.2% fibonacci retracement back to c94p, nicely coinciding with the flattening out 50day MA – as per the charts below. The share price might well find support at that level ahead of the upcoming Prelims due on 16th April. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship
05/2/2015 14:00 | FWIW, I've decided to lighten the load a little and take some very handsome profits in short order. Lucky stuff :-) For the record, I still think there is some mileage in the remainder but wanted to lock in a nice turn in what I have found to be tricky markets recently. Will definitely re-stock if the price falls back. Good fortune to all holders. PS: If anyone has any similarly "priced to go" stocks, please don't keep them a secret! | cwa1
04/2/2015 14:44 | Encouraging share price action. Some way to go before it breaks out of the downtrend but nice to at least see it moving in the right direction. MACD is well oversold + RSI still very buyable. | speedsgh
04/2/2015 11:51 | 94p bid on that Ruffer news... Stevie - well done; these days difficult finding a good turn in low risk plays... | skyship
04/2/2015 11:30 | Yet another holdings rns. Plenty of stock changing hands at the mo. This time it's Ruffer who have been adding to their holding. Moved above 5% following purchase of 1.39m shares on 2/2. Notification of Major Interest in Shares - "Ruffer Group now controls the voting rights over 7,965,000 shares (5% of the voting rights) of Epwin Group Plc which are held by discretionary clients of Ruffer LLP and its subsidiaries. This change from less than 5% to 5% is due to the purchase of 1,390,000 shares on 2 February 2015." | speedsgh
04/2/2015 11:10 | Those 5 sells @ 10,000 were me. Sorry! I'd got a bit excited when the price dropped to low/mid 80's and had overloaded the SIPP a little. Back to sensible holding now, but still expecting to make some decent gains in the near future. | steviebaby
04/2/2015 10:47 | yes, I can only think that the short history as a public company and suspicion as to why the previous owners would have sold are responsible for the mismatch between share price and forecasts. | alter ego
04/2/2015 10:31 | alter ego - Agreed. I'm interested in who the seller is seeing as I have what is (for me) a material holding. Like yourself I am looking forwqrd to the next update on trading which, barring unscheduled announcements, should be the Final Results in just over 2 months time (16/4). If the business manages to at least perform as forecast, the current share price should indeed prove to be a very good buying opportunity. Having Simon Thompson on board banging his drum should also help to spread the investment case to a wider audience too. | speedsgh
04/2/2015 10:23 | despite the fascinating ebb and flow of buying and selling there is really only one thing of importance to the share price Is the actual business doing well? I guess we won't know more about that until results come out but if the share price is still around this level I'll be expecting a rerating. | alter ego
04/2/2015 10:14 | "The shares referred to in section 9 are held in portfolios managed by those firms on a discretionary basis for clients under investment management agreements." Probably just fund managers trading in + out as justification of their day jobs! :o) At this stage it certainly doesn't look like Schroders are materially reducing their holding. But there is certainly someone in the background who seems to be offloading which has created the downward pressure on the share price. One thing is sure: we will be the last ones to know who it is as usual. All part of the game. | speedsgh
04/2/2015 09:19 | So the net result of all that is an increase from 16,800,000 to 17,004,345 ? Any reason why such a convoluted way of getting there ?? | steviebaby
03/2/2015 19:44 | The only notifications since 30/9/14 (see previous post) have been by Schroders: increase from 16,800,000 to 17,716,430 - above 13% to 13.123% (as of 12/1/15) reduce from 17,716,430 to 17,296,300 - below 13% to 12.812% (as of 19/1/15) reduce from 17,813,300 to 17,004,345 - below 13% to 12.596% (as of 2/2/15) Not sure that makes any clearer what Schroders intentions are or who the main seller is in the background. from today's rns... "The shares referred to in section 9 are held in portfolios managed by those firms on a discretionary basis for clients under investment management agreements." | speedsgh
03/2/2015 19:30 | By way of background research, the following provides list of major shareholders as at 30/9/14 - The percentage of AIM securities not in public hands at admission: 42.87% Anthony Rawson(1) – 15% Brian Kennedy – 15% Schroder Investment Management – 12.44% Premier Fund Managers - 9.94% Henderson Global Investors – 9.85% AXA Investment Managers UK – 7.57% Unicorn Asset Management – 7.10% Ruffer LLP – 4.69% Chelverton Asset Management Limited – 3.52% (1)Both before and after admission, 2,464,400 of these shares are held by Pentwin Group Limited, a company controlled by A J Rawson. | speedsgh
