Oh dear, 2J (as phoenixs would no doubt say) : so you're another one who is apparently devoid of any sense of humour. You choose not to believe what I say about my buying price - which I posted at the time - yet you appear to take seriously an, I should have thought, obviously light hearted throw away line. You guys should ask Hammy to set you up an 'Idle chat but no sense of humour thread' : I'm sure he would oblige.

P.S.
I get my wine from a local vigneron who doesn't have a mortgage; fit smoke alarms, and eat an apple every day - you can't be too careful IMHO

I always feel I'm in profit if I haven't made a loss. Avoiding losses is the first step on the road to prosperity.

Good afternoon jack and congratulations - why don't you go for the sparkly lights any way : hang the expense.

No problem, Ron : some of the greatest achievements aren't truly appreciated at the time they first appear - just look at the C5 for example, or TSK's first Christmas tree post.

Luckily teh old "Recent" button I employed to bypass teh idle chit-chat left that at teh top of page.

Morning Blue.

I always remember the lady in America owned big stores, who stated out loud income tax is for the small people, she later got charged, and was sentenced to jail for not paying tax.

A bit like your post BB that you feel you are above the little people who have a mortgage!! How truly pathetic is that statement. It really does tell me what sort of person you are, and if you feel anybody who has a mortgage is beyond you, the next time you walk in and buy your case of wine ask him or her if they have a mortgage, and indeed if you ever need the fire brigade ask the crew if they have a mortgage and if they do please send them away, or if you are dieing on the street, a paramedic turns up ask him do you have a mortgage, with a bit of luck you will get your answer, and if I may say so someone I wouldn't give the time of day too, you are the weakest link goodbye.

Good afternoon Thread.
Christmas tree up, save the lights.
Is the share price going to break the 4-5p barrier this week?
I would go out and buy those sparkle type christmas lights in celebration if
so. Maybe even two pairs for the light to really shine.

Good afternoon BlueBelle

Absolute cracker, Ron : Hammy will be very proud of you (if he's not put off by some of the idle chat which has, alas, been all too prevalent this morning).

BB can't help but wonder if you are actually on a paper loss at the mo, rather than in paper profit!!

That's why I seldom post my trading details - it can be quite emotive. I suppose at heart I don't really care whether you (or anyone else) speculates on my position or believes what I say. All I can say is that were you to go back over my posts on all of these threads (sorry that potem missed the irony of my earlier comment) you will only ever see me claiming to have made 3 trades. An initial buy at around the 20p mark (so long ago I can't remember); a sale at 140+ (when I freely admitted I missed the top of c190 by quite a bit); and my most recent purchase. All were posted at or around the time I made them.

Whether you believe me - or anyone else's claims - is entirely up to you : it certainly won't affect my investment decisions but good luck with yours !

well done bluebelle!! You are in profit.

Only at the moment and only on paper, but that's why I invest. One day you too might get to know how it feels. Who knows ?
