I must say this performed very well today given the earlier downward pressure on oil.
Oil finished strongly, eventually closing slightly up.
A single swallow doesn't make a summer and this wild dog is closer to its 3 year low than it is to its 12 month high so is still likely to bite the unwary at some point.
That said it may be worth another punt at some point tomorrow or in the coming days.
Good luck.

Huge rebound in oil price. Has Donald let the cat out the bag saying supply is tight?

63.74 the year to date front month future for Brent average . As I often say the daily moves are to be seen in aggregate. The good news is average price is rising

because it looks like 15 was the bottom (which i missed) and because i think the shares will go up?...as predicted by some and argued against by the long crowd here 15 WAS reached and there are reservoir issues..the update was at the top end of positive as predicted by the bulls on hereother reasons being..driving season round the cornerinventories in us falling nowthis has no real potential (unless you bought in recently) until oil prices look like the will be high next year too etc...

hitman1a122 postsLet's revisit the Kraken sale againNot sure what price they got low-balled with last year with things were not working well, but given the following:1. 2018 repairs2. 2019 repairs3. DC4 investment4. Less discount off Brent.5. Current Brent priceSurely the asking price has gone up.. If were to say sell 10k ie: 25% of Kraken.. what price would we get.. ?I think we could drop from 70k to 60 bopd. if we could get 25% of gross capex back ( $2.3b) :$575m That would repair the balance sheet quite rapidly.. perhaps the share price would double quicker imv. Or am i thinking a bit too short term and the future NPV is far better than the sale price and accumulated yearly interest it would save, or other opportunities lost.

Hey Stansmith,

If I am reading your posts correctly, you've chosen to re-invest in Enquest after a period on the sidelines. Would you please explain what made you do that?

Good job against Nastase at Wimbledon by the way, hope you can still vault the net at the end of a match.....

Ok wally, thanks. To be honest, I still can't see it, but do agree that share price is likely to rise from here. Daily chart suggests a bottoming formation, but no bullish trend for the moment. Similarly no bullish trend on the 4h chart, but it's threatening to turn bullish. 2-hour chart shows the 30eMA crossing up over the 50/60/9 eMA's which suggests that buyers are tentatively getting the better of sellers at the moment. On Wed March 20th, the price broke up from a short term descending tl resistance that formed from Wed Feb 20th, then backtested the break on Monday the 25th and rose into the triangle formation I posted yesterday. That break and backtest of the break is actually a pretty positive sign that price wants to rise. Add to that today's break up from the triangle pattern and I'd say that buyers really are starting to get the upper hand.

Sorry stupmy, never worked out (or cared enough) to work out how to post charts on here. 6 month chart, left should higher than right, we are at neckline now.

Once / if neckline is breached, with high volume we are off to the races

hxxps://www.investopedia.com/terms/i/inverseheadandshoulders.asp

if that link does not work:

"stockcharts.com/school/doku.php?id=chart_school:chart_analysis:chart_patterns:head_and_shoulders_bottom_reversal"

Or you could just google Inverse head and shoulders!

Pattern looks obvious to me, but there you go. Perhaps tinted glasses!

Unfortunately the policies of particularly the last Labour government in conjunction with the liberal lefty warriors, and EU totalitarianism, affects those mostly at the bottom end of the spectrum.....talking about uncontrolled mass migration....as the vast majority who entered, enter and remain also at the bottom end....that's why the vote was to leave...working class votes.

I'm. and I'm sure so are many here, lucky enough to be able to live in an area that isn't affected by these policies.

What these aforementioned people do are making sacrifices on behalf of others, and have never walked a mile in these peoples shoes....so they can't understand.

It was ostensibly a "cry for help" vote, more than anything else.

From a technical point of view, the reverse head and shoulders trend reversal is confirmed when this level is breached (ie the height of the shoulder).

That should bring in a lot of technical buyers, assuming it is breached of course

andyi think if you use these boards you have to expect people to be group long typesthere is no rules that shorts and negative posts are not allowed, indeed most say they welcome both sides of the argument, until they hear it..there are position posters who need to be outed in addition to idiots pretending to be experts talking of experts lol onedb yesterday criticised an analyst view ad suggested a lack of ability/experience/skill - dont mention his posts here lolhowever he still has a following on pmo - so it went down well for the reasons abovealthough he may not be a paid ramper, fair to say people here will have seen what comes out his gob is no better than anyone else, despite the conceited way he phrases itbetter than that he has been shown to be very excitable on rises that collapsed as soon as he tried to attach himself to themso im happy about thatas for being out/short - i have never shorted a share, and i have sold down enqapi/eia will be a bit wonky next week due to the issues in the shipping channel, so will need to see what to do, if the mkt will act on product draws and ignore the possible crude build
