26/3/2019 10:27 | Exactly AI . Spot on . Both within a short spell of time . Goes to show that these notes are a) as subjective as we on this B.B. are and b) it's also opinion based on a subjective view of the broker . But it's not fiddling , I don't believe that to be the case . | onedb1
26/3/2019 10:21 | There will be a tipping point as well once the debt gets below a certain level. I think oil could well sustain above 80 this year once the central banks start printing again... which they will. | gregpeck7
26/3/2019 10:19 | Wasn't the bullish RBC note on PMO based on Brent at $65 for 2019 whereas the bearish Enquest note was based on Brent at $60 in 2019. $5 making a difference of $75m EDITDA to Enquest in 2019. (Enquest CFO Says Oil Price Rise From $60/bbl To $70/bbl Would Mean $150 Million Increase In Ebitda This Year) | american idiot
26/3/2019 10:15 | Hi Disco, Don't take this badly . I know the RBC analyst wrote factually wrong debt analysis . They just write an opinion. Market moved that day but share was in a downtrend anyway. Her energy desk wrote a target of 140 for PMO and the day it was issued it had no impact on price . Same as last year when they wrote 230 for PMo . The funny bit was that her energy desk was bullish oil. We are rising now | onedb1

26/3/2019 09:29 | Oil moving back up after a very minor pull back. Just buy and hold here. Patience will be rewarded. | gregpeck7

26/3/2019 09:09 | He's right Disco, it's not a conspiracy simply because it doesn't do what you want it to do. Pull yourself together. | stupmy
26/3/2019 08:32 | A first for me as I agree with an Andy's post . Brokers have zip to do with it Shorters ( look up who Marshall and Wace are ) are closing out . That on its own is great news . High beta stocks had a bad day across the board , UK and US on Friday . They suffer the most (obviously) on risk on risk off days . This searching for conspiracies is only common on Bbs every time a share retraces a bit or does not go up in a straight lineMe am Long still averaged at 20.5 and long Brent too . Not changed my Brent view and have taken profits and bought back some PMOs and others in the last few days . But remain long sector . | onedb1
26/3/2019 08:14 | Oil above 67 dollars Lots of director buys Looking more positive Sicknote | s34icknote
25/3/2019 22:29 | Ha Ha, that's a yes then Dave. More patience required because the brokers want it lower? Why do they want it lower? There is only one declared short over 0.5%, the stock on loan is next to nothing compared to some so what do these brokers gain? It's too easy to blame others for your poor decisions, the brokers are giving an opinion, that opinion may turn out to be right or wrong but just because their opinion differs from yours it doesn't mean there is some conspiracy at foot to drive this lower. The market is not convinced EnQuest has the right business model or producing assets to pay down its debt in a timely manner, it has little in the way of future production to come online. The company has gone cap in hand to its shareholders twice within a couple of years, you then have the emergency Oz loan and the debt it owes BP under the vendor loan, not to mention the ongoing payments to BP once that debt is cleared. When does the senior debt need to be extended? 2021 from memory, the negotiations will start long before then. We seem to be in a lower for longer oil price cycle some may argue the current price is about right or around the average long term price when you iron out the peaks and troughs. Is that due to the US production filling any voids left in the supply chain by OPEC? Probably. Can the global economy afford oil much above the current price? That said, I will probably have another gamble on this in the coming days. Good luck all. | andypop1
25/3/2019 19:29 | This is being played like a fiddle, certain brokers wanted this low pre results and still do by the look of it.More patience needed. | discodave4
25/3/2019 17:34 | Russian troops in Venezuela Brent above 67 dollars again !Let the profit takers move aside.Sit tight . Sicknote | s34icknote
25/3/2019 16:26 | I don't have a buy signal, but as a FOLO trade I've bought some at 17.6ish. I've left my limit buy in place lower down and would not be surprised to see an early dip in share price tomorrow. But the lower gap may not be very significant at all. | stupmy
25/3/2019 16:26 | Thanks Billy. Due Scapa Flow Wednesday morning for transshipment to Philadelphia. | steelwatch

25/3/2019 16:01 | Why not add some more at 17.5p | leoneobull
25/3/2019 12:16 | After an attempt at upside (buying by PI's on that gap closure), it looks like larger players/algos are going to try for the downside. We are again at a decision point (SP 17.6) and for the moment, I'd say the downside prevails. I'm talking about short term moves not longer-term potential. | stupmy
25/3/2019 10:19 | will add my next block at 25p - as posted last week. | mallorca 9
25/3/2019 09:35 | Yes, I'm watching that. Perfect closure, with no overshoot for the moment. That gap was visible on the daily chart, there is a tiny gap down to 16.25 visible on the 2-hour chart. I have limit buy that would pick up a move down to that level. Not yet bought back my leveraged positions that I sold just under 20, I'm waiting for some evidence that the pullback will finish with the 17.66 gap closure. It really doesn't matter if I miss it as I have a large holding in shares. | stupmy
25/3/2019 09:15 | Gap closed @ 17.64 from Wednesday. Onwards and upwards? | colebrooke

24/3/2019 22:05 | Stanley, I don't think there is a crew operating on here, just a bunch of PIs who are underwater. If it waa a crew and I was paying them I would want a refund! | andypop1 |
