16/3/2019 09:49 | ok, m/cap 259m | chrisa1
16/3/2019 09:30 | Using a net ENQ figure of 10k bopd foregone and a gross operating profit figure of $45/bl (66- 21 operating costs)*365 days gives a more realistic figure of $164m foregone. Still a fair wedge but less than half your exagerated figure. | sleveen
16/3/2019 09:30 | The value of the underlying assets are worth more than the m/cap? | chrisa1
16/3/2019 08:56 | The market likes companies that under promise and over deliver , the situation here is the opposite. Kraken under performing by 15K bopd at $66 is $350M per year, an amount critical to debt reduction. Very disappointing and costly. The CNE downgrade was another nail in the same coffin! regards Richard | richardbroughton
15/3/2019 20:59 | Re Kraken, would be astonished if the RNS contradicting the CNE downgrade was anything but factual and in good faith as it would leave the directors open to accusations of misleading the market deliberately-or worse-were they in possession of any information to the contrary. The Enq RNS was somewhat unusual and would draw attention to the BOD were ENQ to change their tune in a few days without good reason, esp in the present regulatory and litigious environment. They must be fairly confident, esp after raising cash from big investors at a much higher price. imo | cumnor
15/3/2019 20:22 | Have to agree with you Leo. | sleveen
15/3/2019 17:59 | I'm listening to the webcast from Cairn's results. Doesn't sound all that bad. 30 to 35000 KRAKEN versus 30300 last year | leoneobull
15/3/2019 17:52 | Yes, of course, it could. The problem is 'the not knowing'. There was a broker note a few weeks ago with a 15p target (that was given well above the current price). They were/are very close to the money. Kraken looks likely to disappoint on the 21st. My hope is that there are not any negative changes wrt Magnus. Someone said on this thread 'follow the money'. That's ambiguous. The intention was to highlight the director buys (substantial). But the money is jumping ship, that's clear. Nothing can be done until Monday mind so don't fret and perhaps consider buying your loved ones a little gift to keep them sweet | stupmy
15/3/2019 17:39 | Could it simply be selling by an institution for risk management purposes? | leoneobull |
