I think we'll get a full Kraken update anyway on 21st March. It stands to reason they can't connect DC4 whilst continuing to pump normally. Hopefully they would have made use of the downtime by also carrying out planned maintenance. They are slick operators.

bgt a few more here today, I guess you risk that this will fall further, but IMO with oil prices in the mid 60's that is unlikely.

Just looks like a sensible consolidation period to me. Especially until they sort out Kraken. Sentiment seems to be rock bottom here, lots of pundits hitting it too.

Good news Profitaker.

As soon as Enquest are out of their closed period I intend to contact Ian Wood and grill him on what exactly is going on with Kraken.

23 days between offloads is nowhere near good enough but who knows if there are problems or if its down to progress on DC4 or scheduled maintenance ?

If only we knew.

Thanks Steel, looks like ENQ picked the wrong partner for the Kraken FPSO, easy to say in hindsight tho'. One thing I am not clear about, if the FPSO is signed off and compensation paid shouldn't things be hunky dory with it now or is it that a lower performance than specified is accepted as part of the sign off.? regards Richard

Still no sign of an offload from Kraken (last offload 22 days ago)

Perhaps theres a chance of some kind of scheduled maintenance program currently taking place ? (Last year we had a shutdown scheduled for April which was brought forward so maybe its the same again this year ?)

Perhaps Bumi are on the job carrying out improvements to the performance / reliability to Kraken ?

Failing that then I really do not know but I sure hope things improve soon otherwise FY production targets will begin to come under pressure.

classic from the same bunch on pmo last week was that institutions had obviously been taken inside due to the low volumeif enq was such a bargain, someone would take advantage of all the manipulation and load up would they not....always the same on these boards, people think they see something that the mkt does not and will consider just about anything other than the balance sheet enq have circa 1.8 bn debt, how much have they repaid this year and what is estimate for next?will they have done as well as pmo ?pmo got very little credit for what they achieved.....

The charts are never wrong, lol, it's the shorters, Trump, the MMs or anybody else but never the charts.
The fact a tanker is not in sight to offload from Kraken has nothing to do with it.

What is needed here is a chart from the special one (dB).

re - Enquest have clearly been underperforming the likes of PMO and TLW

TLW has been holding at the same rate as on September and being the best on the 6 months chart
PMO was marked down due to press talk of acquisition and expecting a cash call
ENQ was diluted very heavily on the 3 for 7 Right Issue @ 21p on September and so far has not recovered.

Is disgusting what is going on and FCA is doing nothing.

The same happened last Friday, just at the end of the day the share price is marked down so 99K @ 19p as UT was being worked for the shorters

No luck for them just now they had to pay 19.16p for 91K as UT as it was brought down to 19.06 v 19.12p spread at close

Marshall Wace LLP it seems are controlling the stock on the order book, so does not rise too fast as they are still unloading on looking at the last report 0.88% -0.11% 27 Feb 2019, and naturally wanting to get out at the lowest price possible
