05/8/2010 17:44 | Crikey, just got back in - 80% up on my punt here this morning! That'll pay for a few beers... Cambium, if you're after a touchscreen technology company you HAVE to be looking at Carclo (CAR). Their CIT subsidiary has a revolutionary technology which will displace ITO screens on mobile phones etc etc - and the best thing is it's not even blue sky, as it'll commence production this winter, following a blinding deal to supply the mighty Atmel. Have a look at wan's thread header post there. And CAR are also into LEDs, medical diagnostics, RFID etc etc...I've been in it with a crowd of others for some years, and although it's done well for us, it's about to take off in our opinion. | rivaldo
05/8/2010 17:36 | Apple? lol IQE may be worth a look, not touch screen but sort after technology. Would be interested to know if you find a good company ;) GL | mike_f
05/8/2010 17:26 | sorry couldn't resist, well done btw. I have been watching for about a week or so, and got scared after the big fall recently, have been comparing it with CML and CYAN, all of which I think will do well. I am also looking for a touch screen technology company, either manufacturer or developer, any ideas? | cambium
05/8/2010 17:13 | Husbod, yes only took 1 sell earlier to knock us down from 85% up to 66% up, sure is volatile and the 1 MM will most certainly be the main reason, with the few shares in issue it makes it worse lol Cambium, i only had high expectations as i know how illiquid this share is as i have been watching for months and it only took around 15 buys today to hike this up 133%! | mike_f
05/8/2010 17:10 | Was only expecting 100% rise................ | cambium
05/8/2010 17:03 | 210.6% rise on Plusmarket Mike. Biggest one day rise of my career but this is one volatile share and I certainly don't like the idea of just one mm. Maybe as we get bigger more mms will come on board. | husbod
05/8/2010 16:48 | If you have a decent broker jenny he will buy at the best price and it seems that the plusmarket prices were more attractive today than AIMs. | husbod
05/8/2010 16:48 | Thats because the buys are possibly done online in nominee accounts not through a broker. | battlebus
05/8/2010 16:40 | The plus market aside, there's only one recorded trade on the ADVFN. Why is this? I know nothing about this company (apart from what I've just read in today's RNS). I note that the share price was at a low before more that doubling today, but during the last eithteen months it has flirted with the £1 level. Was the company on it's knees or has there been a consolidation of late? | jenny tulwought
05/8/2010 16:36 | That was a crazy ride up near the end of the day. lol Exceeded even my expectations! Was only expecting 100% rise, be interesting to see which way this swings tomorrow. GLA | mike_f
05/8/2010 16:28 | Chris where have you gone at our finest hour. We both said we would multi bag here so to double is not a bad start. | battlebus
05/8/2010 16:22 | Who going to get trapped in this one tomorrow then ! One mm wins with a 20-25p spread and NMS of just 2k. Avoid. | watchout2
05/8/2010 16:08 | 20/25 114% up! More tomorrow? | mike_f
05/8/2010 16:08 | I've had an incredible two months and it just keeps getting better, wondering what's round the corner to ruin it! Now a doubler. | battlebus
05/8/2010 16:02 | Tick back up! 17/22p again. Strong finish coming up? Might be another good day tomorrow. GLA | mike_f
05/8/2010 14:03 | It was never disclosed as far as i am aware riv, would be interesting to know though. | mike_f
05/8/2010 13:53 | Out of interest, does anyone know how much the Abu Dhabi Yas Hotel contract was worth to ENF? Unsurprisingly the past RNS's don't disclose (AFAICS), since there's presumably confidentiality etc. | rivaldo
05/8/2010 13:41 | Hi Scott, thanks for that, in their recent Strategic Review they do highlight the fact that they are targetting the Health & Beauty industry so you were probably privi to this info before we all knew. I am hoping that news flow will start to be more frequent here, as i said earlier i have just been a spectator for a long time but now it is time to get IMO. Could be the start of the recovery. 05/8/2010 13:36 | Mike_F - Enfis had just started out with a couple of post-graduates & a guy called Gareth (from memory) sitting in the office in Technium I at the time playing about with LED's, arrays & lenses. From memory i think they were trying to get into the Health Care market. Different wavelengths of light can help the skin heal etc. & they were looking into the Health & Beauty industry to help people remove scars. | scott1978
05/8/2010 13:28 | Yes only 1 trade through LSE, just 1 buy knocked us down a touch, would like to see the rise continue, mcap below £3M just looks too cheap to me! GLA | mike_f
05/8/2010 13:24 | Good coverage, thx Mike. Most trades are going through PLUS - 55k so far today. | rivaldo
05/8/2010 13:15 | Proactive Investors article: | mike_f
05/8/2010 12:58 | Yup, very volatile, however at this price i am prepared to wait for further increases, there can't be many at a profit with the current spread. However upside potential looks great. See how the rest of the day pans out. Tempted to buy a few more. Hmmm. | mike_f |
