I like seeing a personal touch on these boards from time to time

so much that is written on social media websites can be so impersonal/harsh, etc. whether intended or not.

so it's good to see the human side as well, as a reality check that you're dealing with other people, and not just avatars

as others have already said - you're a good person doing that

I worked on a dementia ward when I was younger, it's intensive work and poorly paid. Cannabis oil has been shown to do wonders with Alzheimer's.

Yes good on you, my wife is a carer and I know what she has to do, a difficult job and paid peanuts, people forget how hard these jobs are so its a real bonus with help like yours mate.

The government have no idea about adult social care but a big shock is coming believe me !!

Hey thanks guys,,
I know we/you all have matters of concern in life , of a similar vein,
and it's hard , been a few times,and trying with the others from days back to tend his needs if pos.but its the staff that are the gems there.....felt cut up today that's why I put it to pen so to speak, but a big thanks go out to these great caring members of staff...thanks guys ..gla and bless you

Just had a nice top up,missed the early prices,
I have been to a nursing home,giving our old groups singer his dinner, puréed.
He's got Alzheimer's, can't speak, he can't do anything for himself anymore,
how lucky are we,
and he was 70 last July,like the rest of us in the band....so,so sad..bless him

Stewart, totally get that too. I had just had a role out of cnooc 2018 drilling plans. Thought I would share what they had planned in China area Eme are in the current position to doing 29/11 alone, as they are 100% ownership at present. So not in cnooc plan. However. If cnooc were to drilling in that area it would of been of interest to us, re tie backs etc. Regards Dodgy.

Gaz will have been a very busy boy with the results of 3D seismic. It's just a pity it took TK so long to sign off state of the art software to replace Frank's abacus which didn't have enough beads in for China!
