14/11/2017 16:26 | Imagine reload! Wonder if we could have more news tonight or will it be Wednesday/Thursday? | niceyman1
14/11/2017 16:22 | Anyone know if the perf guns are sent down in a string for all the zones, or do they need to pull them up and reload them for each zone of interest please? | scaleyman
14/11/2017 15:26 | deanroberthunt14 Nov '17 - 13:12 - 12500 of 12511 0 0 Empyrean It is difficult to know quite what to make of the EME announcement which shows ‘sub-commercia -------------------- I refer you to my earlier post when, I should remind you, you suggested I "show some respect" as Malcy had "forgotten more than I will ever know, on matters Oil and Gas"....... I stand by my earlier comment. | herschel k
14/11/2017 15:25 | I don't think shortage of gas was the issue, more permeability due to poor reservoir condition. Clearly the cement bonding wasn't an issue; good news. Clearly well integrity not an issue. Onwards and upwards. | mark of the rushes
14/11/2017 15:22 | The JOG scenario is still fresh in my mind here. Release bit of perceived bad news and share price tanks before the real news comes out few days later and share multi bags! | blueblood
14/11/2017 15:15 | How long will it take for them to test next zone up? Few days maybe but should hear more by end of week. | blueblood
14/11/2017 14:46 | I am with terry on the malcy front .. all pasty no gas till later | telbap
14/11/2017 14:33 | Malcy needs a script to work from.... | thegreatgeraldo
14/11/2017 14:18 | Malcy knows it imo. Strange that he would publish such:-)Or maybe not:-) | fairenough11
14/11/2017 14:12 | Unbelievable that MGW does not know this?? | nametrade
14/11/2017 14:10 | there is no confusion, they tested the 'poor' sands, it had good clean gas, but not enough.. they haven't yet tested the interesting targets | currypasty
14/11/2017 14:07 | Malcy gets confused trying to work out which menu is for the all you can eat and which is the a la carte down at Mr Yip's Chinese Buffet; I'm not holding my breath that he's going to bounce into the rescue of us bewildered PIs | terry hardacre
14/11/2017 14:02 | Malcy seems to have surprised at the poor result, hopefully he will contact TK and check it out a bit more as there seems to be a lot of confusion over this. | trulyscrumptious
14/11/2017 13:35 | Slow climb back up to the surface. All the doom mongers have gone to play elsewhere. | blocker2
14/11/2017 13:20 | KevJames, We have 2 zones below what was expected but from todays RNS I would think only the shallowest was tested due to this... The well's lowest zone, a thin sand with poor reservoir characteristics.... We will soon know. | nametrade
14/11/2017 13:12 | Empyrean It is difficult to know quite what to make of the EME announcement which shows ‘sub-commercia | deanroberthunt
14/11/2017 13:10 | "The well's lowest zone, a thin sand with poor reservoir characteristics based on the wireline logs, has been perforated and has flowed clean, dry natural gas and no water" I understand testing it, why not test everything while the kit is there.. but im not sure why you would RNS it, when they had seemingly already guessed it was 'poor'.. why not wait till you had tested the bit that you thought will be a gusher? | currypasty
14/11/2017 12:57 | So, we've got the upper zones which they have already indicated are commercial enough to pay the cost of the drill,to which could be added this lovely dry gas, albeit in small quanitity, and we still have more zones to flowtest. What's not to like...? Let the good times roll! | soggy
14/11/2017 12:53 | SoggyThat's my take on it. | oilforex
14/11/2017 12:45 | Does the setting of a temp plug above this zone mean that if - WHEN! - an upper zone starts to flow they could allow this one to flow along with it? Is there a problem in co-mingling from 2 zomes? If they can, then what the RNS isreally saying is that the zone did not flow at a commercial rate if taken on its own. Advice please from those knowledgeable on the subject. (and I topped up with another couple of grands worth this morning - it's like buying tenners for a fiver...) | soggy |
