This is obviously extremely disappointing news, but these are the risks of exploration drilling. There is no shame in drilling a duster, it's not easy finding oil and seismic only provides so much information, hence the strong oil price. There can never be guarantees.However what is disgraceful is seeing the stock down 23% yesterday before an announcement. That is insider trading - without any question whatsoever. There should be an investigation and those people should face prosecution.

The management must be congratulated on one thing today. They have a definitive end to the drill and admitted total failure rather than dragging out the news in a fog of speculation. Now everyone is on a level playing field. Before 8pm. The idea that Duyung could be a saviour might be a red herring. Much like "filled to spill". The same mistake is being repeated.

Begorrah, obviously we're all gutted, but I did sell some and derisk a bit, in hindsight not enough :-( but I've put a lot into Coro which has a higher %age of Duyung so fingers crossed there. They also have their Italian assets which are generating c. 5mln Euro free cash flow for a company with a market cap of c. £9mln. My average for EME is c. 4pps so while I am losing unbanked profits my original capital should be protected by Duyung. Had we not had this backstop then I would not have been so heavily into EME.

Let the dust settle, wait for the GSA, get a valuation on that asset and start again.

Find it totally comical during the drill all you lot saying oh Dyung underpins 10p. Now your all happy with 4-5p! Just goes to show peoples reality on here. Eme have no cash, no GSA abs probably won’t drill topaz. If they do massive raise again and no one will have any faith. The only thing to do now is hold for GSA and hope you can get 4-5p out of it.

Well.... Tk .... My thoughts... we all went with the evidence provided these past 7 years... took the risk (un paid) with EME. I now strongly encourage updating the loyal shareholders on Duyung, monetising it and issuing the payout we all now deserve - before any further moves on Block 29/11 or anywhere else for that matter. To those shareholders, disappointing as it is - we have Duyung, its value needs to be realised. We are assuming 12p plus so all is not spent. Our focus and pressure now on the company to deliver the shareholder value on Duyung. Onwards and upwards. GlA
