10/2/2022 08:53 | Im not expecting any sort of bomshell news on Duyung tonight, I think it'll be a similiar presentation to November, however I'll try and get those questions to mark. | craig2016
10/2/2022 08:51 | -- Empyrean and China Oilfield Services Limited ('COSL') survey engineers have held several meetings over the past week resulting in a revised scope of survey works and providing a greater sea swell tolerance to conduct the well site survey required over the Jade drilling location -- A shorter survey duration requiring 3-4 days of swell less than 1.7m now required before rig mobilisation and drilling -- CNOOC EnerTech-Drilling & Production Co ('CNOOC EnerTech') team has made significant progress in securing critical pre-drilling permitting including Standby Vessel and Environmental Impact permits already being completed -- A further five permits are in progress and expected in the coming weeks with the last of eight permits requiring the well site survey in order to complete. -------------------- Having read the above it would require a survey ship 3-4 days to do the survey and we have not seen one in the area for that duration. As Laz said you would think the survey would have priority as it is expensive to have a rig sitting idle. | buzzzzzzzz
10/2/2022 08:45 | Am I the only one feeling like a mushroom when it comes to owning shares in EME and CORO. | buzzzzzzzz
10/2/2022 08:37 | Craig, ask Mark 1. Did he get into trouble with Conrad for saying GSAs could be signed before Christmas? 2. He must have based his 'pre-Christmas' comments on something, so what has caused such a lengthy delay? 3. When (the fk - optional) are they going to sign the GSAs and release the news?! Cheers Laz | lazarus2010
10/2/2022 08:30 | As you say Laz Conrad must be enforcing an NDA on Coro and Eme but NDAs need to be reasonable in terms of content and timescale.Clearly here Conrad are master and Coro and Eme are servants.Where is Jeeves when you need him he would have found a way through this. If you are going to the presentation tonight Craig perhaps you can find out how Coro have got themselves into what appears to be a timeless NDA and what if anything they are doing about it.At the moment both they and Eme look impotent. Not a good look. | 10owen
10/2/2022 08:20 | Well,It shows that you believe that 2 companies you have pumped on here are both having similar problems that are everyone else's fault but their own.I still think the absence of the deposit landing where it was supposed to go, the failure of it to have turned up still, and the lack of any urgency to get the survey done aren't unconnected. | begorrah88
10/2/2022 08:11 | bskiny1...we have a contract with COSL to drill the well, presumably this means it is COSL that need to complete the survey to get the permits to mobilise the rig. If they have a rig waiting to drill Jade, then it would be in their best interests to get the f'survey done asap, ipso facto we should be at the front of the queue! Similarly Conrad as a private company have a great deal riding on Duyung and clearly want to get things right and importantly I am sure they want to get the GSAs signed asap and are being delayed by others as they have no control over the signing by the Indo's for 25%, therefore it's the other 75% that they can push so I myself was wondering WTF are they actually doing to push this along. Unfortunately getting into bed with a private company means they don't have to release any updates and can put an NDA into place to gag Tom...f'frustrating! On another note, TXP have had the Coho pipeline upto the Shell gas processing facility laid for quite some time. The well was drilled a few years back, they signed a GSA with the national gas company, and it's still not connected to Shell's facility as Shell delayed all the negotiations and are now delaying the shutdown and tie-in...TXP have done everything right and are delayed by others! The actual production is small beer in the bigger picture but it's proof that they can monetise a gas well and will bode well for the next 2 wells being hooked up and coming onto production for July/August this year when the cash starts rolling in...or so we're told! That was just to show that EME not the only company that suffers from delays outwith their control. | lazarus2010
10/2/2022 08:04 | If it's already been done, a simple RNS would suffice | blakieboy7
10/2/2022 07:58 | I think its still possible that its done already......they said they could be spudding on Christmas day...they said they said....it doesn't happen how they say.....very often. | nametrade
10/2/2022 07:38 | 708...Assuming that this is our vesse, just a thought but could there be a backlog of surveys because of the weather, and our job is a bit down the list...GLA | bskiny1
10/2/2022 07:38 | No GSA news No fraud news No survey news No news whatsoever What I can’t understand is why book a vessel to do a little site survey with equipment that can only operate in seas with a very small swell when we are a few hundred miles offshore? Poor planning, a lack of vessels with suitable equipment or a mix of both? How many weeks/months have we been waiting now? And why did EME state we will be drilling in a window between 15th Dec - 1st Jan when the swells are so important and that they have no control over 🤷a | judijudi
09/2/2022 22:50 | No but 708 if it turned due south about now, then it would. :) | jamesiebabie
09/2/2022 21:59 | Is there any ship going to Jade that you csn currently see ? | tradesense
09/2/2022 20:52 | You know that song by the Pet Shop Boys, Go West? Unfortunately, 708 is going east. :) Currently in block 03/33 operated by Roc Oil. / | jamesiebabie

09/2/2022 16:25 | Dude where's my ship? | lazarus2010
09/2/2022 15:50 | If there are pirates do you think we will get an ARRRRRR.N.S! | starzerus
09/2/2022 15:36 | Some people have no sense of humour. | ride daice
09/2/2022 15:00 | I hope there are no pirates operating in that neck of the woods. Let's face it we've already had the deposit nicked. The last thing we need is for the boat to go missing. | ride daice
09/2/2022 14:52 | nt, you're not allowed to text and surf in Oz! | lazarus2010
09/2/2022 14:44 | Wouldn't it be an ingenious idea for EME to use their frankly useless twitter page to put out some information. This close to the drill I'm sure somebody would be interested? Its not exactly going to cost them.. LND resources directors are in their 70's and 80's and they can manage it?? | nametrade
09/2/2022 12:39 | I think 7 is the old 6...seem to have plenty of support around this price...roll on the GSA and survey when 17 becomes the old 7! | lazarus2010
09/2/2022 11:15 | Have the market makers fallen asleep? Tick up coming? | solarfire73 |
