great work JB, many thanks! Let's hope it really is on its way to carry out our survey and also let's hope Conrad get the GSAs signed and announced this week, then the 2 pieces of news should provide us with a big boost imho

Buzzzzzz, I'm sure they have everything under control! It is difficult trying to second guess their actions from thousands of miles away.

708 started to move about 30mins ago and travelling in the right direction.

Jade is pretty much where the two vessels are located in the bottom right of the picture.

I have not seen a survey vessel above Jade.

I posted the same questions and just like you got one idiots voting me down.

If we don't get a survey ship in our drill site soon what is going on, they can't still be hungover from Chinese new year.

one vessel 3 days = 3 vessels 1 day ;-0

Highly unlikely of course!!

No that's a fair comment, Buzz. I had it in my mind that Coro had about £40m of debt so I hold my hands up on that. It's been probably 2-3 years since I looked into them so either things have changed or my memory fails me.

Keep watching 708; it's moving in the right direction. Made a little pit stop on the way? I'll update the position later this evening.

They also said this on the 10th Jan..

The last of the eight permits required will be completed on conclusion of the well site survey.

Perhaps they are waiting for permits to be issued before RNS.

Else it doesn't make sense? This is a big window of opportunity, they have been waiting half a lifetime for the sea to be calm enough. Now no vessels have been tracked to go do the survey at the first chance they get?? why not?

Agree
TK would RNS that the survey has been completed

On the 3 November 2021 they said

The Offshore team will join the Onshore team 15 days prior to rig mobilisation to the drilling location, and will be involved in managing day-to-day drilling operations on the rig.

Is it fair to assume that the survey was done before last week and that there has been 15 day period and so if the permits are sorted as everyone assumes the end of week should be go?

Vessels of interest to me are highlighted. Red circle is approx. location of Jade.

Blue vessels - survey ships.
White one - our rig.

The captian of the 708 has just waved goodbye to our rig as he heads for the open seas.
