LS none of us can possibly know. Besides, even if is underway, it will still take a bit of time to move the rig so spudding next week is unlikely imv. And that's on the basis we get the remaining permits signed off

The underwater volcanic eruption near Tonga will not have any significant effects on the survey location. The next 4 days are ideal conditions for the survey/

Jj a massive event like Tonga could be a precursor to or trigger further events around the Ring of Fire. Could also affect sea swells I guess? My son in New Zealand has warnings for the North Island of possible unusual sea movement at shores. That's 2500km fr0m Tonga. Our drill area has the Philipines for protection but you can't discount the possibilty of effects IMO.

My preferred survey ship is now south of Macau, anchored up in what appears to be an offshore anchorage for many vessels; like an offshore holding area.

My preferred vessel has left port and has reached HK; now I just want to see it go in SE direction. When I believe it is confirmed, then I'll share the link.

I've got a shortlist of three survey ships; I have one preferred one sat in port near Shenzhen; different location to rig. It's been in its current location for 6 days. It is owned by COSL.

When/if it moves I'll let you know.

And yes, I have been through all the COSL survey ships, so I know where they are in the world, not to say that they won't use another companies vessel.
