10/1/2022 08:04 | Don't stress about these permits, I can assure you that the permits will be approved when needed. we rush these types of permits through all the time. the Permits will not delay drilling | craig2016
10/1/2022 07:58 | You cant be more inept than to not sort all possible permits if this is your company making major project that you have been waiting to drill for YEARS.. | nametrade
10/1/2022 07:49 | An own goal of an rns 🙈🤦 | judijudi
10/1/2022 07:47 | They were able to tag on to the last Jade operation update, about the funds having been raised, that btw, we've lost just shy of 2 million dollars somehow. Yet they are not able to tag on to this one whether the funds have been returned, having told us that 'recovery actions have been commenced' I get that investigations may take months to conclude but would have thought, 3 weeks after losing the money, they would have been able to update, as they said they would, regarding its' recovery. Maybe they didn't want to take the shine off todays' sparkling update! | begorrah88
10/1/2022 07:36 | Yup. Survey should get done now, swell has been in this range lately | smackeraim
10/1/2022 07:35 | Bottom line, irrespective of what's gone before, Jade will get drilled in this window and a GSA will be announced for Duyung .More patience required and certainly not the time to throw in the towel.Imo | jemjem
10/1/2022 07:32 | Buffy...my rose tinted glasses not working, never did...you're right on all counts...it seems that Tom/COSL dropped the ball on the time it takes to get these permits...not sure of the timeline but would expect that the process would have commenced as soon as the deposit was paid...into the wrong account...it's all a bit of a sh*tshow at the moment and while Tom has clearly been busy, he's not covered himself in glory, quite the opposite! Still at least a 'Plan B' for the survey has been confirmed (I posted a while ago that he needs to have one) and now we have confirmation...would have liked to see a 'Plan C' which included an alternative such as imho a bigger ship...unless this new 1.7m swell constraint is actually due to using a bigger ship and he just hasn't confirmed it? Hopefully we will get the survey done imminently now and all the permits can be completed. Looks like drilling in February, so still a chanceDuyung GSA(s) RNS will land before drilling date announced! | lazarus2010
10/1/2022 07:28 | People were moaning about lack of comms well now you have it….what a bluff. | birotop
10/1/2022 07:21 | “ A further five permit applications are in progress ” We knew that. They were expected “in the coming weeks’ in the RNS dated 16 Dec. What was this nonsense about drilling at Christmas? I know that those in love with the company and it’s assets won’t see it, or if you do, certainly won’t say it, but the management of this company has been poor at best. Three assets (I bet some of you invested here can’t even name the third one) and we haven’t begun monetising a single one, after how many years? I know some will, as I might have done when I was wet behind the years, quoted why this or that hasn’t been done, and we are just waiting on this or that, but the fact is that for years we’ve gone nowhere in terms of the share price I hope you realise that I was being positive there. It’s gone backwards big time. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
10/1/2022 07:03 | Damp squib rns Excited when I first noticed it In a nutshell we can now go out in a swell of 1.7 Mtrs and only take 3-4 days | judijudi
09/1/2022 20:55 | 5 Tugs next to the rig currently. Is she about to set sail? | pb01
09/1/2022 16:19 | It's seems China’s state-owned China National Offshore Oil Company (CNOOC) used exploratory oil rig, Haiyang Shiyou 981 (HD-981), worth an estimated $1 billion in 2014. Not sure if the own it. I presume it should only take 4-5 days to get there travelling at 2-3 knots/hr. Rig coordinates 22° 29' 58.5" N, 113° 50' 47.2" E | go_baby_go
09/1/2022 12:21 | gbg...officially they have stated 5 days, but maybe they can do it a bit quicker in a perfect scenario? If worst comes to the worst, imho, they could use a bigger ship which can cope with a higher swell. The ROV is underwater and not affected by the swell per se, therefore it's just the ship, and presumably more expensive, but cheaper than not drilling before the licence expires!! | lazarus2010
09/1/2022 10:31 | Lowsulpher1 "Malcy is a waist of time" Like what you did there ! HaHa | squibno1
09/1/2022 10:05 | Surely there is an opportunity for the survey to get done this week. Favourable weather conditions Monday, Tuesday. How much time do they need to get the survey done? | go_baby_go

08/1/2022 17:32 | Seems a few tugs moored up next to the drill rig...anyone else notice that? They weren't there yesterday... | nametrade
08/1/2022 17:20 | Only time we get PR is for a placing | currypasty
08/1/2022 16:18 | Laz It is possible. The owners of the overhand seem to be sticking to Plan A and have little appetite for letting their new holdings run a bit. | wcj |
