Posted at 14/3/2024 08:20 by spangle93 Positive results and outlook in the preliminary results issued this morning.EPS up 17% Asset value up 4.6% Ahead of 2023 in bookings for next academic year Maybe this will get it back over 100p? Or encourage a takeover by someone :-) |
Posted at 08/1/2024 21:22 by panshanger1 I am currently holding ESP PHP APIRESI and a small holding In RGL RGL was a larger holding ( now much smaller )and very high risk as refinancing issues on horizon and in a pretty unloved sector Not planning any sales atm as I am here for the income principally and this represents about 10% of the portfolio |

Posted at 17/8/2023 14:16 by riskvsreward Is this result really that good? A half year earning of 2.3 p on NAV of 117p,less than 2% ROE and thus less than 4% ROE annually. One can get a better return on a saving account. This company promised a progressive dividend and an initial dividend of 6p when IPOed almost ten years ago, but ten years on it pay a less than 4% dividend on a lower price than the IPO price. |
Posted at 09/8/2023 17:28 by tradez4dayz What do we think needs to happen here to end the discount? Seems like such a stagnant share but as I bought in at ipo I would at least like a pound back |
Posted at 24/5/2023 08:06 by spangle93 Positive update this morningNext year's room bookings ahead of schedule, and 2 new disposals above book value in process. First dividend also announced An interim dividend in respect of the quarter ended 31 March 2023 of 0.8125 pence per ordinary share, payable on 23 June 2023 to shareholders on the register at 9 June 2023. The ex-dividend date will be 8 June 2023. |
Posted at 12/5/2023 17:01 by tradez4dayz Was told today that the Ceo has just got himself another sideshow job. And what's more he's taken the hr director too.Don't understand how this guy can be paid £400k+ a year, not return the share price to nav or reinstate the dividend to pre covid levels and then just get another job. To further distract him from his inability to do his job.Unbelievable |
Posted at 16/3/2023 08:26 by boonkoh With EPRA NAV declining since HY, it I unclear if NAV growth will be the main reason to hold Empiric.Coupled with a low dividend yield, and no firm commitments to increase it substantially, what is the attraction here at the current share price? |

Posted at 08/2/2023 15:33 by apollocreed1 @Spangle93-Lol. Wrong board.... But It was just gut feeling because I think their Primary Bid fundraising 2 years ago was at 112 so anything below that seems cheap to me. I suspect that it will go back down to the 108-109 price soon unless US Natural Gas goes back into a bull market, so you may get the chance. |
