Termination of Nominated Adviser

Emerging Market Minerals (AIM:EMM), the AIM listed uranium, thorium, base and precious metals and gemstones exploration and development company operating in Madagascar, announces that on 16th January 2017 it provided Notice of Termination to its Nominated Advisor ("NOMAD"), Strand Hanson Ltd ("Strand Hanson"). The Company has commenced the process of finding and appointing a new NOMAD, and that process is well advanced.

The Company today terminated Strand Hanson's appointment as NOMAD with immediate effect on the grounds of breach by Strand Hanson of its agreement with the Company. The Company will update the market when its new NOMAD has been appointed.

AIM Rules state that if the Company fails to appoint a new NOMAD within one month its shares will be delisted from AIM, but as stated above we are confident that the new appointment will be made well within that period.
