AGM Thursday .... Can not go ...
Expect someone will exclaim the exasperation of the share price . and the Co. lack of guidance.
I sold a small amount a few weeks ago to top-up with GNG and WCC , so not unhappy to do so .... but still feel a bit too "connected" as owner of the thread !

Eleksen Trading Statement

RNS Number:0779T
Eleksen Group PLC

Eleksen Group plc

("Eleksen" or the "Company")

Trading Statement

March 16 2007

Eleksen Group plc, which makes smart fabrics products used to control electronic
devices such as smartphones and MP3 players, today gives a trading update to the
market.

Following the company's recent commercial arrangements with major brands such as
Microsoft and Apple and current discussions with a number of other brands, the
Board remains confident that there are substantial opportunities for its
technology.

Management accounts for the year ended December 31, 2006, which are currently
undergoing audit review, indicate that revenues for the year are likely to be
around #3.5 million, closely in line with current market expectations and some
two and a half times greater than the #1.3 million reported for 2005.

Looking forward, however, the timing of converting opportunities to revenue
remains difficult to forecast. The Board's present best estimates suggest that
forecasts of sales for 2007, whilst substantially above that achieved in 2006,
are materially less than current market forecasts. However, expectations are
that the level of marketing and product support costs going forward will be
lower, thereby reducing the impact of the lower revenue on pre-tax operating
figures

The Company will report results for the year to December 31, 2006, on April 18
2007 and provide further guidance at that stage.

Eleksen add more controls to fabric keyboard concept
Friday, Feb 23rd 2007 by Chris Davies

We're unashamedly impressed by Eleksen's clever fabric keyboard technology here at SlashGear; their original roll-up 'board seems like a far better mobile solution than i.Tech's Virtual Keyboard, and subsequent forays of the concept into areas like embedded iPod controls in clothing have been warmly reviewed. Now the company is teasing us with another concept design, this time making the most of both sides of the fabric.

While the familiar QWERTY layout is available on one side, the reverse has a dedicated numeric pad, D-pad and music/video transport controls. It connects via USB, although there's nothing to say that a commercial release couldn't use Bluetooth as a previous concept model did.

Let's get a release model on the shelves, Eleksen

first one makes a simple comment a bit like
...its Elektek , so quality/function is as you'd expect ....say no more...

Another little snippet on another weblog:

WeblogSmart Fabrics and Bluetooth
February 15, 2007

Another snippet from GSM show. Talked to the people at Eleksen and they demo'd their stuff to me.

They don't use Java (yet), but they know their Bluetooth, and they've done a beautiful job of enabling a range of very cool products based around their smart fabric technology. This is one of those things that you have to try out to believe, and once you've tried it, you almost want an excuse to have to get one of the products: "Hey, think I'll buy a huge smartphone with a rubbish keyboard, just so I can get their Bluetooth Keyboard". Niiiice!
