09/9/2006 21:05 | Of the shares I have, this is the one I am least happy to hold even though I am (just) in profit Has anyone ever seen any of its products? I tried to once but turned up a day late. Which probably says more about me than the company. | call-logger
31/8/2006 16:30 | Not looked at this for over 6 months. Filed the share certificate as I hold at over £. Selling property now to generate profit. Seems they do better at that than on software products. Any comments? DYOR | wilshaw
15/12/2005 17:10 | properties now revalued, look at the effect! In my opinion the only direction for this share is down. | wilshaw
02/12/2005 16:16 | Figures are due soon for EDP , one to watch out for , it has lots of cash in the balance sheet and properties last valued at 1988? I think . A revaluation of them will send the shares soaring . Profits are a bit naff though and rare ! | nick rubens
08/8/2005 08:40 | There seem to be signs of life in the EDP share price. Anybody know why? | sharespotter
13/7/2005 20:08 | The FD has taken up the share options why not the other directors? | wilshaw
14/6/2005 09:50 | Funny how most of their competitors are posting better results. I have a contact at a Manchester based firm who operates in the same sector. They have never been as busy! Remember this company do not have a sales force as such. There are a couple or three account managers and that is it! Why continue to plough so much into R&D when there is nobody to sell what they produce. DYOR | wilshaw
09/6/2005 17:06 | Well maybe, I think the business must be worth more than I indicated, I was trying to be conservative, but revenues really have dived. As largest IT supplier to the "independent" builder / timber industry (they say), then larger player in similar sphere could sell off head office and x-sell product. It just goes to show though that delayed numbers are usually bad numbers. | adam
09/6/2005 09:59 | I'm not sure there's enough value in here at this price to make it worthwhile, I guess it depends on just how much more than book those properties are worth. | arthur_lame_stocks
09/6/2005 07:58 | Results are poor, profits down and "tough" environment. Mark down in share price likely to remain supported by NAV and unbooked property uplift, but not an inspiring share to hold. I think fair value on sale would be achieved as 1x revenue + NAV + prop uplift which would be nearer £1. No sign of "for sale" flag. Will be interesting to see what, if anything, Petchey does. | adam
06/6/2005 13:45 | I rang the company and they didn't have an exact date yet, although they did say the results will be this month. | sharespotter
01/6/2005 09:57 | When are the results due? | wilshaw
19/5/2005 20:16 | about time too, thought it was only me who had been thinking this for years! | feedthegoat
19/5/2005 11:11 | I've just checked holdings data and Trefick (Jack Petchey's company) appear to have about 675,000 (2.75% of the company) shares in EDP. | sharespotter
18/5/2005 19:33 | mail today says Petchey sniffing round for the property assets. | feedthegoat
26/4/2005 09:50 | Yep. 7% of the company at a near 10% premium to the prevailing market price! | sharespotter
25/4/2005 08:57 | Did you see the lage trades that showed up after the close at 79p!!!! | the shuffle man
22/4/2005 16:55 | Order fill? year end 31/3...solid vibes? | feedthegoat
22/4/2005 16:02 | Can't understand a 5% increase in this stock on such a small volume. Anyone got any ideas. | wilshaw
09/3/2005 11:09 | I'm taking this opportunity to go back in at this bargain price . The mark down this morning is only because of the ex div having passed last night Long term - with the asset backing - I think this is a solid little investment. | sandbank
03/3/2005 09:33 | cant muster the enthusiasm to go "over the top" in thew snow.Antway last time i got heckled by the over 70's contingent.I was asking too many questions and was holding up their free lunch.Jowitt intervened and explained to them the purpose of an AGM and said just phone me next time. | feedthegoat
03/3/2005 09:04 | Is anyone going to the AGM? | sussex02
22/2/2005 17:29 | Friday week, noon somewhere in Sheffield | call-logger
22/2/2005 16:51 | when is the AGM? | wilshaw |
