An interesting bit of news from The Sun:

"Electra Investment Trust
The Sun raised the prospect that a bidder was preparing to swoop on investment company Electra Investment Trust, saying that in recent weeks broker Deutsche Bank appears to have built an 8.55% stake, presumably for a client. On Monday a buyer thought to be Deutsche Bank bought another £1m of the stock, although the shares fell 88.5p to 560p as soon as the deal was completed, The Sun reported. Electra fought off a hostile bid from rival 3I two years ago."

170,000 shares bought at the end of the day yesterday presumably by DB.

RNS says that DB have increased % to over 8% now. ELTA will break thru resistance on the FTSE's break thru 5375 this week.

Anyone watching this? Technically speaking this one looks to move up to ~775p by xmas. There's good volume, and ready to break the previous top at 780 as well as the long term MA's. DB must really like it to increase holdings in the last month to over 7%......
