09/3/2006 09:11 | So how come there's been no trades since the the Director sell and no increase in the share price ? I used to think that a company would buy back shares and the share price would rise...if more shares are released then aren't the there more shares to go round ? the shares are then easier to get hold of ? therefore the share price would go down ? | rcktmn
09/3/2006 01:07 | Good news in terms of demand for shares and short to mid term strength. | papalpower

20/2/2006 13:33 | talktalk, results were good and strong going forward. Some profit taking I think, before people buy back in the summer ahead of prelims. It rose very quickly, so a retrace was on the cards. Future looks very good though. | papalpower
20/2/2006 13:25 | Any views on the price action today ? The shares had doubled since jan. float . Seems like profit taking. tt | talltalk
20/2/2006 07:37 | Good morning. Results pretty much as expected. Looks like a nice business is being built here. | ged5

18/2/2006 16:21 | An interesting Monday ahead, and yes I fully agree that bolt on acquisitions are key here to enhance earnings rapidly. | papalpower
18/2/2006 12:33 | Roll on Monday ! Good luck all...Whatever happens, i'm in for the long term.. unless of course it's an instant 4 bagger for me ! (bought in at 24p a few weeks ago) | rcktmn
18/2/2006 10:45 | I like the idea of a small free float. This gives the management the chance to control the stock. Acquisitions will be the key to this companies success, but if handled correctly could possibly be a leading contender for aim stock of the year. Roll on Monday and good luck eky | hogarth2

16/2/2006 11:42 | Not much happening now, into a lull before a storm on results, lets hope its a nice blue storm ;) | papalpower
14/2/2006 00:46 | GHF nice move on TAG. I will remain in, like to keep an interest and prepared for any retrace, its a free ride now so no worries :) | papalpower
13/2/2006 18:14 | Well, I'm out. I think there are better opportunities short term and this had risen 100% in a matter of days. For those interested I sold my remaining holding and invested it in TAG. Good luck to all holders, I may rejoin you if it falls back to earth !!! Regards GHF | glasshalfull
12/2/2006 20:29 | Ged5 - Well done ! A fantastic return in 4 days. That's the strategy I've adopted but sold a day early so congratulations on holding your nerve. Expecting a pull back but as you say the rest are in for (almost) free. If only all our investments were like this ! Best wishes GHF | glasshalfull
12/2/2006 13:57 | Shorters will look at the running P/E of circa 25 plus and work on this especially with the small free float. Its idealy set up. Sorry but I cant see how you can compare this with SMC, a shorter would have to be mad to take that on. Best of look anyway with your trading here. | hedgehunter
12/2/2006 12:23 | GHF, in answer to your earlier question I sold the majority of mine on Friday and like PP the remainder are now for free. Thanks for prompting me into action. | ged5

12/2/2006 01:35 | But you quote a forward PER figure for SMC, but not for EKY. I would think due to your posts on M am under Goldfinger end here as hedgehunter you might be short already. Fine, that's your call, I am on a free ride with EKY so not selling of course. The stong cash generation, growth and a dividend are the key things here. Have fun and good luck on SMC. ;> | papalpower
12/2/2006 00:02 | By the way if this one does go higher from, its present share price and not backed up by up and coming results I will have no hesitation in shorting. | hedgehunter
12/2/2006 00:00 | To be honest I cant see what SMC as got to do with this. For a kick off you are starting at a far lower P/E of 15 falling to just 9 with SMC. Both in different sectors but having said that I would concede the sector average with Ekay is presently higher, but not justified in my way of thinking. In any down turn, and lets not forget we are 34 months into this lasting bull market the average being 31 months. at some time earnings muliples are going to fall, and its not far off now. We have been lucky that technology as combated the the negative effects of resource stock rises. This cannot go on for ever. On a micro level advertising and market research etc are the first budget to be hit by any company. WATCH OUT. | hedgehunter
11/2/2006 23:44 | But the same can be said of SMC, in terms of acquisitions required to keep it growing, and yes it will come to a stage where the price chokes and cannot get past, that is normal for a stock to rise until it finds it choke level, and then retrace from there :) | papalpower
11/2/2006 23:34 | To continue P/P at present rate of growth you are expecting one hell of a lot. I can only see acquisitons growing the business at this rate, and they are not sure to kick in immediatly. Best of luck though, If I were a medium term/long term holder I would be selling and if present rise in share price continues, shorting the stock. | hedgehunter
11/2/2006 23:19 | Agree with that, interims are needed for the figures and also outlook so that judgements can be made on future direction and how strong they are going, but do not forget it is planned EKY will be giving out a decent dividend, and considering that, when compared to many other companies on PER ratios like this, are they paying a div out as well ? In many cases no. Will be interesting to pour over the EKY interims on the 20th. | papalpower |
