04/11/2015 11:27 | So Spring Road is a trunk road (with apologies) ... | taudelta1
03/11/2015 19:31 | A key well for the Company will be the first unconventional resource exploration well in the Gainsborough Trough - Springs Road-1. This carried well will provide important information towards de-risking and evaluating the unconventional resource potential of our acreage. Subject to planning and permitting, this well would be drilled in the summer of 2016. There are always delays in UK onshore, but the elephant can be seen in the far distance. | rogerlin
03/11/2015 10:15 | ARA out today in case anyone has not yet noticed. I have not yet read it but see average daily output of 173 barrels per day. I think that may be slightly down on guidance. AGM on 3 December at 11am - same place as last time. | whackford
03/11/2015 08:55 | Rogerlin .. yes indeed ... deep purple is the colour for much of the Gainsboro Trough in several of those maps.. a high percentage of all of the Bowland Gas is likely to be here ... also Widmerpool is another "purple area" in which EDG are represented .. we have to hope we get that planning permission! GL | taudelta1
02/11/2015 19:48 | Page 24 shows the thickness of the Bowland-Hodder unit in the Gainsborough Trough as up to two kilometers. Not clear how much of this might be gas-bearing but it looks pretty promising! | rogerlin
02/11/2015 10:39 | IGAS has announced on one of its websites (but not as an RNS) that the proposed unconventional drill into Gainsboro Trough PEDL 139/140 at Springs Road N Notts has passed preliminary planning procedures and will now go to public consultation. EDR has 14.5% of PEDL 139/140. It is possible that EDR will comment on this in the full year RNS due tomorrow. | taudelta1
23/10/2015 16:24 | This flash note from Edison on 22.10.15: | dukedosh
22/10/2015 22:49 | hxxp://www.freepress | fox you
22/10/2015 10:45 | 500 b/d gross is 125 b/d net to EDR, i.e. 45,625 per annum. This is a low cost field, and pretax income generated from this level of production should be circa £700,000 pa net to EDR, nearly cancelling out all their G&A expenses ... a very worthwhile development. DYOR, and follow the fundamentals, don't worry about one day's perverse share price movement! (down to 10.25 from just two small trades, amounting to about £8000 consideration)... GLA ... | taudelta1
22/10/2015 08:11 | This news is as good as anything we could really have expected. | gerhart
21/10/2015 07:45 | Update on prospects in the Weald by UKOG. | rogerlin
07/10/2015 16:41 | At the price they are getting ALK for then they are getting EDR shares virtually for free, if they hold EDR and they ever reach some of the broker valuations, then they will be getting ALK virtually for free! | dan de lion
07/10/2015 13:06 | Yeah ODDO are accumulating ALK shares: Pendragon have announced today they also have 2% - BB is going to struggle to hit 90%. | lageraemia
07/10/2015 12:39 | Lager - then maybe we will hear more by end of the month or whenever the takeover is definite. Or Balfour may simply sit on the EDR shares. Re.ODDO, I cannot see any RNS saying they are accumulating EDR shares. Do you mean they are collecting Alkane shares? I've never heard of ODDO. | whackford
07/10/2015 11:24 | Hi Whackford The offer for ALK closes tomorrow (8th) I believe. There's a 3rd party called ODDO accumulating shares and they're now up to 4.2% holding. Does that name ring a bell with regards EDR? | lageraemia
07/10/2015 08:38 | Lager - quite agree. It will be interesting to see where that large chunk ends up. I don't see how there can be news on this issue until after the Alkane deal completes (not sure of expected date), at the earliest. Therefore I expect this weakness in the share price to persist for quite some time. | whackford
06/10/2015 20:22 | "SELL" AT WHAT PRICE MATE???????????????? | fox you
06/10/2015 20:08 | Well I think the weakness might be due to the ALK takeover by Balfour Beatty. ALK have a big chunk of EDR shares, which I presume BB would sell. | lageraemia
06/10/2015 17:46 | ANYONE TOPPING UP?? LOL TBH, I MAY BUY A FEW CLOSE TO 5P SUBJECT TO FUNDAMENTALS AT THE TIME ATB DYOR | fox you
06/10/2015 15:33 | EDR gets there in the end but trades in fits and starts, so it's not going to respond immediately to the POO ... it's just the way things are and in no way reflects the quality of the investment ... there are a good number of AIM shares like this, some of them quite large companies .. Youngs Brewery is a prime example ... GL | taudelta1 |
