Pinsticker - thanks for posting those classics! Have you any more tucked away? Psychowoman was another poster suffering from multiple identity disorder - some of her/his postings cracked me up :-)

lol, yes that was it :-)

And when Nik said "Tell you what - I will meet you, Huwcyn, Jon C and that Lord C bloke in Soho at your ADVFN do and we can sort this out off the thread in
quick fashion. Everyone can read this posting and I am sure they
would agree it is best to take care of this matter face to face. I
have offered to meet you all before - this is a perfect opportunity.", yes I was quaking in my boots :-)

Then I met his sister (post 10 above) and all was forgiven...

I recall sitting next to Nicola (who has a son, Nelson, who wrote the Bugle reviews periodically) but I don't remember the nickname she used. I do remember the first BBers meeting at Soho Soho that Bigwig organised. I also remember many of those first brave fellows who met up there. Sadly some are no longer contributors... G.

I think for historic reasons we should raise the first ever thread. I've got the referance somewhere. Will post later tonight for somebody to retrieve.

Martini,

Thanks for posting the Dodo story. I don't have an Etrade account anymore, but it was interesting to reread the post. Times have changed a bit, markets being bearish now and few IPO's. Those were the days when the Sunday Mail tips would be bought by the Dodos on the Monday and shorted by the Vultures on the Tuesday ...

Thanks for the offer, Martini.

I'd read it/them if you did that but don't mind if you can't be bothered, if you get my drift.

Raised both of the above threads last week I could cut and paste them but probably too long for here. If you guys don't have access to the site I could post them to another site if you want?

Someone wrote a thread during a day's trading (was it Bully?) which was just a diary of when and what he bought and sold.

Does anyone remember that thread/post or is that the one you're talking about?
