Yes this is more than Hendersons disposal. I think only a few million trades took us down from 5p to 1p, the market is a funny thing, maybe now is the time to average down if you believe in the market being forward looking to the oil shortage that this slump will cause.

Probably talking to myself at this point, but, 4 million sells absorbed today and no change to the bid. Unheard of, this used to yo yo on 15K trades!

Can only guess these are being accumulated by an interested party assisted by Winterflood, time will tell.

Yes, could well be, this is beyond someone selling out and looks like someone smells some money to be made. A bounce to $45 oil could make this a good trade, won't help us long term holders much though.

Swizz, do you have any idea what it could be? Like you say the volume is puzzling. Hendersons could have got out in the first couple of days, wonder if it is everyone in the know dumping for what they can get.....

J, The review of the stock changing hands is an interesting point, with approx 170M in issue and a lot less in free float, if you consider CDS & Co with 57,622,188 shares (35.17%) if Hendersons are clear, then the last 5 sessions,...food for thought....GL S

Andy,

You raise some good points re the AIM.

Some refreshingly honest posts on here, good to see.

I'm afraid we have to ask ourselves does the AIM work for long term investors, or stock flippers looking for a quick 5 - 10%?

I think the model is fatally flawed, skewed against private investors, in favour of the city institutions and their well heeled clients.

A long term holder is diluted into oblivion, and the beneficiaries are the people that can forward sell placings, and that is unlikely to change IMO.

And then there's the spread.......

Holding notifications as expected but not Henderson, unless that are being managed by Winterflood?

My disasters have happened in the last year I made good money in 2014, this week is critical on all fronts for me. Hope your trade goes well, I wake each morning expecting delisting but the trades keep coming in and this genuigly does look like just the major shareholder offloading. MM don't get involved for long if they suspect iminent suspension, a game of musical chairs they don't like playing.

Jungmana, yes I am a TRIn holder as well, only kept two oilers I felt were fairly robust but they have been slaughtered. I diversified out of oil and two companies chosen are currently delisted waiting for an update from management (mildly optimistic of a good outcome)... But currently following the rule of how to make a small fortune on AIM, start with a large one......
