Could be time for Brad to step in and buy some of these himself. Relatively small volume (large for EDG) and a halving today. Only 2000% rise needed to get back to my entry.....

Looks like someones thrown in the towel today and sold. seeing sub penny now...oh dear.???

Mind you someones loss could be someones bargain, bit of a high gamble.

Bet the strategic partner was thinking we would see a dip in the oil price, and all would be rosy..not the huge current slump we now experience.

Topazfrenzy, I'll be taking more than 30% but your're right and the share price has reflected the issues highlighted for some time. Not always a bad thing delisting when true value can be realised outside the vagaries of a depressed market. A matched bargaining system has served me well in the past and a buyout but I've also been taken for peanuts. Most recently Adalta Real where the management consolidated 26000:1 and bought parts thereof for peanuts, then went private. I'm left holding 0.25% but have written it off, who knows. I hope things work out here for the best but off course anything could happen. Is my point.

Good Luck.

These words are alarming: 'Additionally, the Company initially announced in July 2015 that it was in discussion with a new strategic investor group (the "Investor Group") with intentions of funding several acquisitions. The Company has been working with the Investor Group for the last eight months and now believes that, despite the Investor Group continuing to state its intentions to fund the acquisition strategy, further funding from this group is unlikely. The Company is continuing to look at additional sources of capital for growth but the macro economic environment for oil and gas companies remains incredibly challenging and the Company remains dependent on the support of its bankers in order to continue to operate.'

SELL this before it delists, it has millions in debt and will be taken by vultures for peanuts, just like Madagascar Oil. I saw it coming when Brad wrote back to say that they hoped to announce a deal by Christmas, so come a few weeks ago I guessed the whole thing is a bluff and sold all my shares for a 30% loss, which I said on this board.

Get out now is my advice, oil is not going to recover quickly enough to make it come out the other side in my view. Sorry to be so blunt but I find the last paragraph totally shocking.

mark, obviously survival, continuation of business, with whom and as to what they entail your guess is as good as mine. Plan A was further funding via the capital partner which, whilst still on the table, seems to have stalled. BN is actively exploring every route possible, which is what shareholders should expect.

Interesting we had the largest trading volume in months the trading day before this RNS. Good to see it settled. Tucked the bit about the funding partner right at the end but it was pretty obvious they would not convert at 5p with the share price down here.

Carpadium, what are plans b,c and d?

Lazarus, yes a common hazard with illiquid stocks. Only volume will tighten the spread off course.

Incredibly positive way to settle dispute, can't but help in securing one of plans B,C & D.

One hurdle removed, in what sound like a good settlement for EDG.

MMs were scrambling for shares after that 267,466 share buy

Hence those very small 4 buys on the main board after the 2 X 100K buys this morning.

Thanks Carpadium, yes if I was not loosing on EDG I would have put it somewhere else to loose. Pointless selling at this stage.

Brad is still working with the capital partner, it's ongoing, it's frustrating and it's taking much longer than anticipated but it's still live. In tandem there is a plan B, C and D.
The guy is doing everything he possibly can, he has life-savings wrapped up in Edge and just like us a lot to lose. Accepting these facts there's no way I'm going to sell any of my holding at a penny, I'd rather play it to the end.
Far from happy but that's gambling on AIM for you.

I sold out a few weeks ago as I communicated with Brad a little while ago, when he said that he hoped to have news before Christmas. Absolutely nothing since and the markets are in pretty bad shape, I cannot see any credit coming this company's way whatsoever. Oil could be stuck in the doldrums for years to come and therefore profitability could be a very long way away.

The reason I dumped my entire holding of 300,000 shares (at a 30% loss) is because I cannot see Edge being able to pay down the debt they took on. I put the money I got back elsewhere, with better future dynamics and no debt in my view, albeit still speculative.

I hope those invested do come out of this however, good luck.

90% destruction?

Not the worst I've seen and I would imagine the demise of this company would be consistent with fate of many in this industry.

Little madam, I think he is too busy to run any other companies, after all in two years since I have owned he has delivered the water project, and 90% destruction of share holder value.

I have given up on this one and regard it as money completely lost. I must make a note of the Directors - to make sure I do not invest in any one of them again.
Can anyone tell me if Brad Nicholls is involved with any other company?

A 1m MCAP is making us look like a distressed asset! Anyone spoken to our leader, he is publicly doing nothing to reassure investors just hoping some of the guys in the know are getting better feedback from him?
