GGP if it ever produces will be years off and many cash calls away. It has a band of new suckers now as it's been around so long doing its usual of milking its current resource estimations. It will never be more than a drilling and diluting machine. Yes I did hold there lol.

Tidy and Canny

I'm in GGP as well as here. Both look to have rosy futures but if I had to really bet on one of them it would be EDL as a multi nagger.

Over the past several months Edenville has received significant formal interest from several companies for long-term coal supply. As a result, trial shipments of run of mine ("ROM") coal have been transported to customers in order to determine appropriate logistical, quality and quantity parameters. Commercial rates are being paid for the delivery of this coal.

Key Points: "Exceeded expectations"-- Results from seam NM1 for the Namwele deposit confirm coal as suitable for the provision of power plant feed;-- It is considered no washing will be needed for the Namwele seam to be used as power plant feed;-- Namwele NM1 seam results have exceeded expectations with approximately 60% of the coal averaging an energy value of 20MJ/kg;-- The results from the sampling and wash tests of NM1 further support and validate the results from the Mkomolo MK1 and MK2 seams and the recently constructed financial model and Resource Technical Assessment; and-- The Company is working with potential local customers assessing the options to establish mining operations in 2017.

RNS Number : 0173UEdenville Energy PLC12 January 201712 January 2017EDENVILLE ENERGY PLC("Edenville" or the "Company")Trial Mining CommencesEdenville Energy plc (AIM: EDL) the company developing an integrated coal to power project in south western Tanzania, is pleased to announce that it has started trial mining at the Rukwa Coal Project near Sumbawanga in western Tanzania.Key Points -- Trial mining commenced -- Initial mine production planned to start in Q1 2017 -- Significant interest from several groups for the coal from Rukwa Over the past several months Edenville has received significant formal interest from several companies for long-term coal supply. As a result, trial shipments of run of mine ("ROM") coal have been transported to customers in order to determine appropriate logistical, quality and quantity parameters. Commercial rates are being paid for the delivery of this coal.Consequentially, the Company has taken the decision to move the project to the next stage of development, which focuses on the commencement of commercial mining operations and the acquisition of a coal processing facility. It is planned that initial mining will commence in Q1 2017. This will focus on stripping the overburden and the production of a ROM coal stockpile. In parallel, a suitable coal wash plant is planned to be established on site.Whilst some coal will be delivered unprocessed, as per customer requirements, it is envisaged that the majority of coal will undergo a degree of treatment through the wash plant to optimise the product for different customers and maximise the potential returns to Edenville. Initial mining operations will be under the control of Edenville and the Company is well advanced in selection of a suitable wash plant facility. The wash plant facility will also be configured so as to be able to process coal for the planned future power plant. More details on the above points and other areas of the operation will be announced as appropriate.Rufus Short CEO of Edenville Energy commented: "I am very pleased we have been able to reach the stage where we are confident there is a long-term market for the coal from Rukwa. Our goal is to move our asset into generating positive cash flow in the near-term and to become a key supplier of coal in the East Africa region. Production will take place alongside the continued advancement of the planned coal to power project."

Upon completion, the power station will provide more than 15% of Tanzania's current electricity generation needs through a 220kV transmission system. Ngaka Coal Project The Ngaka Coal Project is operated by Tancoal since 2011. The Ngaka basin comprises the Mbalawala sub-basin in the south and the Mbuyura-Mkapa sub-basin to the north. Tanzanian based coal exploration and development company Tancoal Energy achieved record coal sales of 38,877 tons in December 2016 from its mine at the Ngaka coalfield in southwestern Tanzania. This is a result of the new policy restricting imports of coal to Tanzania, according to the Australian mining company Intra Energy Corporation (ASX:IEC), which owns 70% of Tancoal. Tancoal has already achieved record coal sales in October and November 2016 thanks to the new policy. In November 2016, coal sales amounted to 35,370 tons, an increase from the reported record achieved in October of 29,767 tons. In December 2016, Intra Energy announced that customers have indicated they will place coal orders of approximately 60,000 tons per month in 2017. Consequently, Tancoal will increase its production capacity to have a stockpile and ongoing production available to meet that level of sales. To achieve this, the company will mobilize new equipment, which includes one 40T excavator, one 85T excavator, four 55T dump trucks and a grader for haul road maintenance. Additionally, forty 20T haulage trucks have been contracted to increase haulage capacity from minesite to the sales stockpile. Tancoal was established in 2008, as a 30%-70% Joint Venture between the National Development Corporation of Tanzania (NDC) and Intra Energy (Tanzania) Limited (IETL), an 100% owned subsidiary of Intra Energy Corporation. In October 2016, the Chinese hydropower company Sinohydro Corporation signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Intra Energy for joint development of 270MW Ngaka coal power station. The Ngaka power station is expected to consume up to 1.2m t of coal per year from Tancoal, which has a coal resource of 423m t.Read more at: and follow us on www.twitter.com/tanzaniainvest
