Investor Conference Call / Director PDMR Shareholding / Regulatory Update

Echo Energy, the South and Central American focused upstream gas company, is pleased to confirm the following updates:

Investor Conference Call

The Company would like to invite all shareholders to join Echo Energy's first investor conference call on Thursday, 20(th) July 2017 at 10:00 a.m. The Company will separately notify investors of dial-in details.

Director/PDMR Shareholding

The Company further announces that it has been notified that on 5 July 2017 Fiona MacAulay, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, purchased 142,766 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 14 pence per Ordinary Share.

As a result of this purchase of Ordinary Shares, Fiona MacAulay is interested in 142,766 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.039% of the Company's issued ordinary share capital.

Regulatory Update

Following completion of the technical evaluation period either Party (Echo Energy or Pluspetrol) have the right to exit the agreement if between them commercial terms cannot be agreed. The acquisition of an interest by Echo Energy from Pluspetrol in the Huayco field remains contingent on final commercial terms being agreed and accordingly the Company does not have a right to acquire any interest at this stage.
