Ebiquity Launches new Media Transparency Score tool
Ebiquity, a leading independent marketing and media analytics consultancy, announces the launch of Ebiquity Media Transparency Score, an innovative transparency measurement and evaluation tool to help advertisers benchmark performance on an annual basis and improve media effectiveness through operational transparency.
The new tool, created by Ebiquity's Media Value Measurement practice, has been developed in response to the growing need for advertisers to better understand and manage the increasingly complex digital media ecosystem.
The tool was created using Ebiquity's proprietary expertise and technology to evaluate a range of media transparency disciplines including systems, process, contracts and governance. The service comprises a questionnaire which advertisers will complete on an annual basis, producing an absolute and relative value which can then be used as a benchmark metric for performance.
As part of the service, Ebiquity will be able to develop a dynamic database to enable advertisers to compare their transparency levels against other peers, sectors, regions and geographies on an aggregated level. The tool will enable advertisers to use their individual score to prioritise and align their marketing focus and track the internal progress towards their media transparency targets.
Michael Karg, Group Chief Executive Officer, Ebiquity, said:
"Media transparency is one of the most pressing topics for advertisers today. Advertisers need transparency to accurately evaluate the effectiveness and return of their marketing investments, to develop more informed zero-based budgets, and to ensure their brands appear in the desired context."
"We have been partnering with advertisers to help them improve the effectiveness of their media investments for many years, and we believe the Ebiquity Media Transparency Score will become one of the industry standard benchmarks for this."
