In my opinion it won't be long before we see the end of Monarch. I do hope Easy take over whilst the Monarch fleet is aligned with there's before it's aligned with Ryanair's re 2018 planned deliveries . This will be very positive re Gatwick and route duplication and therefore pricing power . Monarch high cost base just cannot cope at these fare levels.

Once this goes x-d, the chances of this share being relegated from the FTSE 100 increase significantly in my view.

Certain institutions may likely become forced sellers due to their investment criteria and this may likely further depress the price.

Yesterday, Liberum again issued a broker note and again REITERATED their SELL RECOMMENDATION with an unchanged PRICE TARGET of 825p.

Easyjet started the year at cica 1000p and have fared dismally against a strong market with a fall to 960p. Thursday will see Easyjet go x-d which means the share price will likely fall to near 900p and its ranking in terms of market cap fall significantly to around 120th slot using advfn analytics.

This bodes ill for remaining in the prestigious FTSE 100 in my opinion.

Liberum's 825p target looks increasingly likely in my opinion.

There could be a few scrambling round for shares tomorrow including the organisations with significant shorts still open (currently up around 4%).


It'd be a shame to see them get well and truly screwed tomorrow :-)

I really cant understand why people think we will be stuffed by brexit. We import 100 billion $ from Germany, 50 billion $ from Netherlands, 41 billion $ from France. Are they going to cut their own throats.

European Airlines travel to uk and vice versa. will it stop? of course not because it would hurt all the other countries
