Morning my biatch!Clutching at straws I see. Numbers look pretty encouraging and nowhere near the 'collapse' the over dramatic posts by some on here were claiming to justify the current share price weakness. A BALANCED view is what is required. Not everyone is capable of that :)The window for shorts to close out is closing rapidly.

The November Passenger stats issued today are in my opinion really not encouraging:-

1. The LOAD FACTOR for November is DOWN by 0.6%

2. The rolling twelve LOAD FACTOR is DOWN by 0.5%

Yes, undoubtedly there will be attestations that the airlines are flying significantly more passengers which is true. But the big question is where are these new passengers coming from as this industry-wide growth in passenger numbers is quite large.

In my strong view, these additional passenger growth numbers are for a good majority, bargain-hunting passengers who are attracted by the really cheap flights driven by cut-throat discounting within the sector.

If this proves to be the case as I suspect, not only are LOAD FACTORS under pressure across the sector but there is a growing percentage of seats being sold at heavily discounted levels.

In my opinion, this is not positive for Revenue within the sector.

The problem with monthly stats is that they just show raw passenger numbers. THEY DO NOT SHOW the increase/decrease in REVENUE PER PASSENGER. - And THAT IS WHERE THE RUB LIES in my opinion.

I maintain my view, in the face of surging seat capacity in the sector and fierce competition, that the sector is being forced to sell increasing numbers of seats at big discounts in order to fill their planes - and even then, not all airlines are able to maintain their previous load factor levels.

Morning all from the slopes :)

Mastey - the market is going to have adjust the projected numbers up strongly as cable moves - 1.275 is next key level.

Cable up around 4% post this in easy accounts . Oil just up a bit !!!

Sensitivities

· A $10 movement in fuel price per metric tonne impacts the FY'17 fuel bill by $2.8 million.

· A one cent movement in £/$ impacts the FY'17 profit before tax by £2.0 million.

· A one cent movement in £/€ impacts the FY'17 profit before tax by £0.4 million.

· A one cent movement in £/CHF impacts the FY'17 profit before tax by £0.3 million.

"A plunge to 740p a share is possible, if the problems facing the airline remain unresolved, RBC added." according to an article in The Telegraph this afternoon.

Their analyst, Damian Brewer, is extremely highly regarded, though I think he's being too optimistic in only expecting 900p.

RBC Capital Markets cuts its stance on EZJ today from sector perform and DOWNGRADES to UNDERPERFORM with a PRICE TARGET of 900p.

You misunderstand Biatch - I'm still here :)

'By whom, one wonders......' - umm, by Largechablis about 5 posts ago - lol. As were you but you're too dim to realise.

I'll jump in to the debate if you step out of line - I own you after all.

STILL waiting for you to answer the question? I answer direct questions - you don't.

Seems that the real "biatch" is Fool himself. His owner has called him off.

Appears that Fool has "been asked not to engage with personal posts anymore".

By whom, one wonders.......

Fool was obviously just a paid stooge put in place on this bulletin board simply to try and promulgate rumours and pump the stock.

Our Resident Fool has bailed out. Bye-bye. Good riddance. Don't bother to return.

About time too. Now the bulletin board can at last return to some normality now that this scumbag has been seen off.

Back to fundamentals. Sterling move very helpful. One further big number move will bring Easy above the 1.2750 level they mentioned as pivotal . Also raised more Euro at euro highs . I wonder how much they used to cover sterling at the .90 level. Now .84.

Appreciate they are an airline and not FX traders but clever management of FX requirements very important. They clearly filled their belly with cheap Oil forwards at the start of the year. Go cable

Not at all Andy. But I don't make the mistake of stating trading positions and bets as 'sure things' as you did when we discussed cable back at 1.21 - I've learnt that trading is a game of getting more right than wrong. As soon as you think you KNOW the market it's a certainty that it will turn around and bite you. Any trader with a fixed position and agenda, as QP with EZJ then you know he's ultimately going to be a loser.

Long time lurker here. Perhaps stop the squabbles and focus on the company on the forum?
Its obvious reading here that QuePassa is just here as a spoiler and SNF has put him firmly in his place so suggest using filter on the noise.
QuePassa and SNF can we tone the personal stuff down please.

As stupid a Fool as there ever was.

Ha-ha-ha.

1950 to 980p.

hasn't got a clue.

when the share price is going down, he thinks it's going up. when fuel prices are rising, he thinks they are going down.

his graphs are rubbish and his lies are even more rubbish.

but what else would you expect from a Fool?
