That's 1% less than two weeks ago, charts are there to be read go back to when they were 873p I said the mood had changed, think the bottom was about 850p it was there for the shorts to see, why didn't they, simple, greed. You can't call tops and bottoms but as long as you get close and leave something for the next guy you won't go far wrong.

Just noticed that most of those listed holding significant short positions have started to reduce.

There are still however a whopping 4.24% of shares in EasyJet that still must be purchased by the forced buyers and that excludes the private and smaller investors who are currently no doubt starting to panic :-)

Both QuePassa and Andy have left the building....

He has called this incorrectly on at least five occasions so far and somehow always claims to have been able to get out with a modest profit which is pretty impressive from a short when the price has been consistently rising!!!

It is still in a significant downtrend, and hasnt taken out any siginificant resistance. 1000p was just a big number resistance, and the lows of a previous fall. It is only if it takes out 1200p that bears will have to reassess imo. I am happy to get out for flat and/or take a few minor losses, so long as I am positioned for the big falls to come, which I will be.

You put an extra 'l' in that first sentence. Nothing like having a fixed opinion on a company, shorting it unsuccessfully, failing to understand the market dynamic and then watching it going higher and higher with no position :)

There is no reason for anybody to remain short on this one. This will now be based priced on results and not speculation.


Plenty of huge positions still to be closed by the shorters so yes, we'll skip 1100p and head right on up to 1200p :-)
