23/7/2002 09:35 | Borrowing has increased so let's hope the fund manager is right about the market. Price has slipped away fast recently - back to 262p. After a first class performance in the early years, the shares have declined sharply in the last year. What's gone wrong? Gearing up is fine if the smallco sector is set for a good bull run. The lack of marketability of smallcos could be a headache if market conditions remain difficult in the next few months. Without a big recovery from the leaders there has been no joy for smallcos. Best of luck PW, you'll need it! | hooley

18/2/2002 09:25 | Since dropping through its 380p support level Eaglet's share price has tumbled 40p in 5 weeks. If it goes under 330p I don't see any obvious support this side of 280p. | m.t.glass
18/2/2002 08:52 | I'm short Eaglet for now. Since dropping through its 380p support level Eaglet's share price has tumbled 40p in 5 weeks. If it goes under 330p I don't see any obvious support this side of 280p. Several other smaller company investment trusts seem to be heading the same way. One of them - FMC - has results out in the next few days(?). | m.t.glass
