07/2/2017 16:06 | One thing is for sure. The company doesn't stand a chance with the existing board of directors in place that have led them into this mess. Wholesale clear out required at the top to enable them to move forward. Aimho | speedsgh
07/2/2017 16:05 | Interesting day. mms mark down at open seems to have been about right. Pity about the divi, we will have to wait for clear figures. They have however given a better idea of their meaning of the word challenging. This is all inspite of a generally good Christmas and the growth in online retail. Puzzled. | freddie ferret
07/2/2017 15:55 | RR Buy bid side DMA, sold RSP. Also making 7%-8% and lose 1.5% on spread is ok for me. It was a small punt, a few hundred squids profit. | bullet ant
07/2/2017 15:51 | Nightfreight is now DXfreight. | tuftymatt
07/2/2017 15:47 | I would of thought the spread would of put you off making a profit at the moment | reallyrich
07/2/2017 15:34 | Took a profit, enough to treat my lady for nice dinner on Valentine day :) Someone has to pay for that treat, I choose Mr MM as my benefactor. Good luck people. | bullet ant
07/2/2017 15:13 | In a past investment life that went pear shaped most of the time, I owned shares in NightFreight I think they were called? Went bust, so never invested in any parcel business again, except Royal Mail and sold them asap! Edit Must have been something else as a google search shows Nighfreight bought out by management? memory fading. | nick rubens

07/2/2017 15:07 | Posts 543 and 553 explain why it's possible that this gets worse. Possibly terminal. Clearly there's a bull case as well. | eezymunny

07/2/2017 14:35 | From a short term point of view there is no doubt this could bounce by a few pence as stranger things have happened in the markets thats for sure!! Long term though there is not much point in holding or buying based on today's statement imo as it looks like a slow bleed out is on the cards unless a miracle cure or donor is found..... | tuftymatt
07/2/2017 14:08 | Still a profit making company, valuation disconnect imo | kmann
07/2/2017 13:56 | Yeah PC and the boy's that drunk the fizzy stuff when this got listed will be out for sure as the shareholders who paid a quid can't be happy with what they have seen these past few years!! | tuftymatt
07/2/2017 13:55 | DHL are doing exactly that with UKmail and will throw a huge amount of money into marketing too. UKmail have a new hub with teething issues resolved and a depot network that can handle overnight deliveries. Well worth a big player like DHL buying if you ask me. DX on the other hand have out of date depots and no planning for their hub as it stands so can't be talked about in the same light imo. | tuftymatt
07/2/2017 13:30 | back up to 8-9p imo. Gatemore have plans for this. Kick the management out for starters, link it up with one of their retailer investments. Looking for 12p here | kmann
07/2/2017 13:23 | 10% of total shares were bought by someone. 20m shs and 200m shs in issue | bullet ant

07/2/2017 13:18 | Yes DHL is expanding big in UK again. They closed their UK network in 2009 -2010. They sold the network to Yodel. They bought UKmail as they are back want to capture the growing parcel delivery as e-commerce keeps growing at double digits | 760il
