The rapid sell of seems to have slowed/stopped at least (for now!) We're above yesterday's low point, so with luck, that marks the bottom and now we'll find some stability before a rise

Need those shorts to close but there's no news due until the 25th july.

Investec timed that perfectly to make some people a lot of money.

No sign of any reversal , not even a dead cat bounce so far.

Morning everyone.

Positive after hours trades coming through, potentially high number of shorts being closed after they struggled to break and maintain at 286. Reversal tomorrow would be nice and a reiteration or buy back to follow.

Like you James and Spider, I bought at 320 this month. Will sit there until my hair grows back. Read naked trader and shorted this pizza successfully last year but not this time. Sob.

Like you James I bought in at 320 in March. I'll have to sit this one out as well. I thought I'd done my homework (obviously it seems not enough). At the time the Naked Trader had also just bought in at 336, and reading his 4th edition, he uses Domino's as a specific example for shorting. I was expecting some volatility, but not this.

Absolutely amazing that one new broker's thoughts can wreck a share price like it has done.

What are the odds on their clients having gone short last week ?

Well I bought in at 323 after the last crash and thought this would rebound but it looks like in the short term I got this one wrong. Probably am gonna be here for a while now.

What a wonderful mix of potent elements, FTSE250 down half a percent, sterling weakened following election, brexit chatter and mansion house speech, consumer spending decreasing in latest figures, wages going nowhere and all whilst DOM still trying to find consistency between two key technical levels following bad short term reaction to decent results. Chuck in some insider knowledge and a completely naive broker rating and you get a day of carnage... Onwards and upwards..I hope :)

Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa Johns etc all remind me of what makes me NOT visit a Pizza Express. i.e. I do enjoy a casual PE meal, but if I haven't got the right vouchers to hand, then I wouldn't dream of going in.
Completely stops those impulse purchases.
