28/11/2005 14:54 | Through 820 in quick time would be nice! | momentos
28/11/2005 14:50 | Adjust for net assets and PER is single figures. Just too cheap in my opinion, and with Directors buys it all looks good. I'm no Chartist, but the chart also looks decent enough to me. | wiganer
28/11/2005 14:22 | So three directors buying, 16K 16K and 20K worth each. AS said on the other thread: If the first half growth rate is repeated in the second half then EPS will be 72p but consensus is 60p according to yahoo. PER of 11x is too low. Just hope the close proximity of the EPIC to the word "DOG" does not put people off! | momentos
28/11/2005 13:27 | thought these would be up like homeserve today, time yet though.A broker buy note was out at 820p when they had there pre-close statement so i trust that will reiterated. HWY another great bargain breaking out in the sector as well. | bigbobjoylove
28/11/2005 13:26 | Very Nice! | momentos
28/11/2005 13:25 | Ticking up again after drawing breath for a bit. | wiganer
28/11/2005 12:48 | I'm in for nearly 5000 now!! HWY and this have to be 2 great value and income stocks with bags of forecast growth thrown in.Expect these to start rallying back over 900 from here. | bigbobjoylove
28/11/2005 12:44 | Got in via sbet earlier today. I Like the results, and I like the balance sheet. | wiganer
28/11/2005 12:30 | If the first half growth rate is repeated in the second half then EPS will be 72p but consensus is 60p according to yahoo. PER of 11x is too low. I'm a long-term fan of this stock but my previous attempts to get a discussion going saw responses that this is a boring company. Hopefully these results have changed that. | lord orphan
28/11/2005 11:15 | Yep, I'm in this morning - directors joining us too Bob! :-) CR | cockneyrebel
28/11/2005 11:09 | 3 directors buy today as well after results. | bigbobjoylove
28/11/2005 10:38 | very undervalued after these stonking results. | bigbobjoylove
03/10/2005 07:05 | There are two threads for DGG: "Share of the Day" and "Undervalued?": both dormant. I have taken a position in DGG: "undervalued" seems more appropriate than "share of the day" at present, so it is here that I am setting out to find whether anyone else is following this stock and has any views. I like the chart, and the short term at least seems good for a bounce (which seems to have started on Friday): | saucepan
11/5/2005 06:49 | Salpara111: good call. I've taken a small short in JLT, looking to see if it breaks support at 338. The chart is in a firm down-trend. | benson
10/5/2005 18:26 | Just bought DGG today ..oversold and the overhang has gone to 'safe' hands ... | darryll
06/5/2005 14:09 | Just closed my short from 925, no point in being too greedy. Needless to say this is the most profitable short term trade I have ever made. The price of the stock is now back on trend after having risen dramatically for no apparent reason. If there had been a potential bid the company would have been obliged to declare it due to the dramatic short term rise in the stock price. The fact that they didnt led me to believe that it was all just hot air and I would seem to have been vindicated. If you are holding the stock I would not be too concerned as I dont think there is anything wrong with the company it has merely retreated to a more sensible valuation level, I guess you could kick yourself for not getting out at over 900 though! | salpara111
06/5/2005 11:30 | anyone know of any reason for the fall as this is looking fairly serious now. | coxewan
31/3/2005 17:06 | big volume today maybe this bid is about to happen | coxewan
19/3/2005 10:12 | Interesting situation. Personally I have taken out a short at 925. Given that the stock has risen so dramatically over the last few weeks the company would be obliged by stock exchange rules to come out and say, for example that they were in preliminary bid talks which might or might not lead to an offer being made. The fact that that has not happened leads me to believe that it is just a lot of smoke and mirrors. I made a good return doing the same thing recently with Excel when their share price spiked on unsubstantiated rumors that there was a bid coming. I am working on a worst case scenario of a bid materialising at 950 with a loss of 25 points to me but the downside is that it will ease back at least 100 from my entry point of 925. Let the fun commence! | salpara111

15/3/2005 16:23 | Not many brokers cover this stock but those that do are a bit adrift on profit forecasts. I think they will make £30m PBT in the next 12 months which is EPS of about 60p. I can't believe the Board would recommend an offer at much below 20x or £12 per share. | lord orphan
15/3/2005 15:59 | any idea of likely take out price?? | abcd1234
