Final results for the last couple of years have come out on a Monday, so will they be out Monday 9th March? Maybe there is more accounting work to do, with DLG which may delay the results for another week or so.

What will move the share price? last years eps figures - although I think that the margin increase may not be that great, or how well the new company is bedding in and the prospective eps figures for 2009?

Hopefully we will see better shareholder value in the near future.

This will be an eyes down unlike bingo. At least there will be a few clever folks winning a penny or two.

Last year there was no announcement of when results would be, as far as I was aware. One will log on one morning and they will be there. One may notice them heading near the top of the top percentage movers if they are that good, but my guest is that they will take time to bed DLG in and they may be a bit muted this time around. I see the next 2 years forecasts do not now appear on digitlook.com for some reason. If they bed in DLG as good as the other company and they have a good impact then we could all be pleased with the performance of the share price. The directors have been producing good figures year on year and the stock has been getting cheaper and cheaper, lets hope that the share price will reflect their good work good sooner rather than later.

Eyes down for results chaps with an eye on the eps, and future forecast.

This firm is seriously undervalued and possibly at the moment the best bargain on the market. This will rocket when the results come in similar to my forecast on webis which shot up 118% on the results day. Get in on time with a small holding at least I'd say.

guru11 - may be worth adding a note regarding the recent purchase of DLG at the top?

Fair enough, they'd had a concerted effort to bring in cash before last year end so I'd guess with increased working capital needs, they'll be continuing this at the moment.

AA29 - quite right there shouldn't be much cash left and debt will be interesting to see. When I say cash, I mean cash levels achieved through cashflow as last year retained cash flow was 4.37m, significantly up on the previous year.

Paul - they don't normally warn us in advance of a results announcement. There shouldn't be a cash pile - we'll need to check the level of borrowing.

Guru - the actual number of new shares issued in Nov/Dec was c0.3% of total shares so presumably they didn't need the cash to fund the acquisition and used cash flow and extra borrowing.

do they need to issue a date first or can they just issue the results?

I would expect fairly positive results, although the key thing for me will be further information on how the acquisition has bedded in and what the cash pile is like.

True - results due very soon.

Pros - Good proven management - progressing 4 year results record - already taken over a loss making company and turned it around almost straight away.
If the new company bought for £3.5m (valued a year ago at £72.5m) beds in as well as the last company share price could look very cheap.

Cons - Now more shares in issue - share price has not gone anywhere in the last 4 years.

So eyes down for more information on what the future holds for DMP and its (including me) shareholders.

results are imminent now with the price of the shares an absolute steal.
Bound to perform well above the all share and ftse indexes when the results come out.

Think the acquisition has the ability to change the size of the company and hopefully can be made profitable quickly so that its not eating away at cash reserves.

If that happens then we should see a significant rise in the share price from here. all in may opinion.

Quiet as a door mouse at present, although I am sure that we will all be enlightened about the progress of the new acquisition not too far off now.
If management do as good as job with the new acquisition as they did in turning the last one around then DMP will look very good value.

paulcaine2003a - Agree with that is will be a slow yet solid investment. The company with the acquisition has a lot of potential, and the real reward to shareholders - as we have all be hanging on for - is yet to come, but I believe that if this huge acquisition beds in then we will finally see better shareholder value.

Disagree about a bid. I think we need time to see the full value from the acquisition. If it was a steal from the Icelandic mess, you don't want someone else potentially taking the future benefits.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Whilst I take your point of views (AA29 and Guru) on the bid front, I wouldn't completely discount it.

I think the new acquisition is a fantastic move making an opportunity out of the credit crunch. This should also change the scale and size of the company and we should see some synergies between the two.

£15.28m market cap at the moment, that would equate to 2 years pre-tax profit (pre-acquisition). Given the reputation of turning round acquisitions that DMP have, this should be a slow yet solid investment.

With cash in the bank, admitedly not as much as previous, but this could still be taken out. Just my thoughts and DYOR.

Good luck all holders.

PS - the dividend was a one off and I wasn't under the impression that we were sacrificing the final dividend to account for the previous one.

Believe results could be out in around 4 weeks time. I look foreward to see what the final pe ratio is for the year, and more so an update for the coming year, as the new acquisition should now be bedding in now. Management has always produced the goods in the past so there is hope again. However there is more shares in issue now which will dampen the eps figure and pe ratio. The question is how much profit will the new acquisition produce in the coming year, and what do they say the prospective eps and pe ratio will be for 2009?

Have invested in a small way in RLX of late, but am sticking and hoping mainly for DMP share price to really improve this year. I could well do with the potential rise in DMP as well, so lets hope that the update is very good. A bid now may not realise full value for DMP.

Who else is there left to bid for DMP, especially as with the banks not lending funds and it would have to be a cash bid? Think a bid is now totally off.

Question - I know it could be naughty after the recent payout - could we be expecting a final dividend payment?

I think results are due near the end of March.

Whilst the underlying performance should be good, the acquisition was making losses so a month and a half of that within DM might hold things back a tiny bit. Hopefully current economic conditions aren't making a turn around difficult.

I think that the latest statement will be it until final results which could be in 8 weeks time, although grow could be slowing a little. The real gain could be when DLG begins to have an impact, which in time could be quite an impact. Do they get they get the majority of their profit from 090 numbers, scratch cards, or somehow from direct marketing, or doing surveys on behalf of companies. How does a much larger database generate more profit?

It is interesting that DLG and now DMP has accesss to so many home landline and mobile numbers and email addresses. It is a good job that I am registered with the TPS, although companies still get around this by phoning from outside the UK.

A waiting game, which I believe will come good in the end. We could be looking at a big jump in share price when DLG is blended in, and with the last acquisition and management this may not take too long either - like this year.

Including the special dividend, we are up over 5% over twelve months as we speak so that's some reflection that the story is better known.

Hopefully there'll be a trading statement before the end of the month unless they decide that the recent update was enough.

not a bad rise again today. We seem to be holding some ground at the moment......famous last words. Would be nice to get back up to the dissy heights of 16p+ and then above.

Good luck to all holders.

A reduction in AW holdings may make the stock a little more liquid. It may be his high percentage holding that is holding the the price of the shares back.

Hopefully the recent acquisition will blend in and by the end of this year the share price will be a little higher. I will hold to see what happens as the track record has been good even though the share price has not reflected this.

A 75% shareholding allows you to change the Articles of the company.

Yep HV and his group been around...heres some details which I assume to
be the Consodata acquisition:-

A bit dated but note DLG is on the Share of Supply table.

Would anyone be surprised given his previous acquisition record if HV bought
DLG or all of DM if he likes what he sees?
