Really, RondeJeremy - SERIOUSLY.... RON (de bloody) JEREMY....!!!! (probably the Fat Boar himself)

Older investors will (most likely) see a connection between the names in CAPITALS here...

I think Blavod sales will take off again. It is too good a product to languish, the US will fall for it big time I think.I said recently that Don knows what he's doing and the results prove this.Distil is not a gamble with so much cash and fast growing sales. If only the market would wake up.

We have enough cash to last over ten years at the announced burn rate. We know the actual burn rate is a lot lower. The risk level just plummeted.

£100m should get you a 20 bagger Someuwin. Are you sure that's enough? :)

If you watch the CEO video in the header he explains it well.

The value of the company is not measured by profit from sales but by increase in the value of their brands which will ultimately be realised with the sale of one or more of them.

As long as they are breaking even (which it looks like they are now) they should have no further need to raise funds.

So increasing sales leads to increasing marketing push which leads to increasing sales etc. etc.

Ultimately one of the big boys then pays a handsome premium (Say, £100m? for the Redleg brand) which they can further monetise with their vast distribution channels.

That's the plan as I understand it.

Heres a couple of scenarios for the current year bsed on 2 sets of assumptions

1) Staedy state... no major change in promo activity in UK.
Sales uplift % 25
Gross margin 58
promo spend uplift% 7

Revenue 1,461
Gross Profit 848

Total administrative expenses -798
Operating Profit 50

2) Continued large increases in promo spend by, for example, buying premium shelf space etc...
Sales uplift % 53
Gross margin 55
promo spend uplift% 50

Revenue 1,789
Gross Profit 984

Total administrative expenses -918
Operating Profit 66

Horses for courses really, which way you go. Although the recognition achieved by the extra promo activity should help with the brand value.

In round terms there's circa 20% uplift in revenue & gross profit in H2 vs H1.
Should be seeing PBT on that basis in the next results.
In todays RNS narrative, I'm surprised there isn't more positive emphasis on the last 6 months performance & subsequent potential for the outlook.

I just had a quick look back at the h1 vs fy results and I think I'm seeing a 20k profit in h2. Can anyone confirm? Look at the cash used in operations and cash at the end, minus the placing cash.

Looks like second half 6 months operating at Break Even.

£1.2mln revenue increase from £650K

New market opportunities

Redleg Rum in the US

Current sales est 30,000 cases

mrkt cap £5mln

Mrkt value £133 per case

Conservative est value £400 per case est mrkt vale £15mln or 3.4p (300% upside)

All guess work and in my own opinion.

not bad, not bad at all.

pretty much at b/e, t/o nearly doubled, and sitting on nearly £1m of cash.

not out of the woods yet, but seemingly heading in the right direction.
