scarletpimpernel2, if we knew that we could make a bob or two. Those that have been here before might well sell early to avoid getting stuck here again. It's going to be an interesting one to watch over the next 26 hours. Lot of early selling on AHG this morning (DXR's gold equivalent)but they were all bought up. Same might happen here, or not.

If TW sticks to that then today and tomorrow morning are the last chances to buy before the action starts. If there is a delay then I can see people selling. It would make sense for TW to buy before the Minesite do on the 12th January but wtik and dyor. Someone sold 100,000 at 5.75p so looks like the MMs want your shares.

Be worth a few quid to know what stocks TW will be investing in. Hopefully in the next week or so we will know exactly what we are invested in. My expectations are that TW will be mostly invested on ASX or TSX since LSE silver stocks are better known to us UK investors.

One day to EGM and so far just a couple of small trades on PLUS. I would expect an RNS on DXR purchases before the Minesite presentation on the 12th January, otherwise TW risks going there with a DXR price drop. Or not.

cheers OTU--on the AGQ thread Sunjammer is very bullish on CNR silver prospects and I tend to overlook the gold!! I'm happy to hold all I can in my mining basket
agq, cnr, ahg, mvc, ecr, mnc, kefi and dxr. modest amounts for balanced risk--I hope.

Still here, lurking, HNY everyone holding DXR.

First it was RTO chat, then TW came on board and folk wanted EGM details pronto, now it's what TW will do with a defunct media company planning big time on silver. My point being it shouldn't be that long now eh?

Just need to correct a comment from yesterday from moormoney. Sorry mate, you have the following fundamentally wrong since the JORC for CNR is Gold orientated, nothing to do with silver (that is the El Salvador exploration rights).

cnr put out a rns today and the mkt has marked it down. Those who know much more than I do about silver say it's very good news if read properly so I will keep adding over the next few weeks. The market is like a box of chocolates today!!"

The end of Jan will give SRK (JORC producers for CNR) the time to get towards 3-D (rather than 2-D as per 4/1/11 RNS) and move to a better footing when it comes to CNR's Nicaraguan gold deposits. Put bluntly....there's a shed load of data to get through.

And in the meantime maybe TW has his eyes on the various silver deposits in El Sal? Expo licenses are currently subject to an Administration Moratorium for mining but worth an awful lot if sense prevails and the Moratorium is lifted. There's a few listed Co's there, some have an aggressive view, some don't,....an interesting sideline to CNR that DOES involve silver!

Mr Dexy, welcome to a fun filled thread. Friday afternoon should be very interesting after the EGM. On every spike in the price here some investors have been stuck and unable to get a decent price for their shares, and have made that pretty clear in their posts. Those in for a quick buck probably won't hang around for long because of that. Maybe another buying chance on Friday or Monday. This EGM has been a long time coming and the silver price has fallen lately, so I am hoping TW will take advantage of that in any deals he does. From the header above,

Any delay might not help the share price, but quick news could move it up. Be prepared for a longer term hold.

Just a down blip imo. The 'market' isn't as bouyant today as yesterday what with the Next/HMV etc bad trading figures out. Most of my shares were up yesterday, today down!
