Posted at 28/9/2007 14:31 by paddywak1967 The company has made 6.3 million in PROFIT in just 6 months, an increase of nearly 400% , has increased sales by 176%, has made fresh acquisitions which are clearly paying off, has increased property letting substantially and has stated its long-term prospects remain strong. On top of all this they are paying a dividend.....unlike Northern Rock(lol). This share should be up on the day and not down!!! |
Posted at 28/9/2007 13:14 by paddywak1967 Direct Wonen H1 pretax soars; sees FY trading revenue below mkt expectationsAFX LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Direct Wonen NV said its first half pretax increased nearly four times as revenues saw a steep rise, but added its full-year trading revenues will be below market expectations on higher interest rates and operational difficulties with its financial services division. It said its pretax profit for six months to June rose to 6.3 mln eur from 1.6 mln eur, while its sales soared 176 pct to 21.8 mln eur, enhanced by the acquisition of Acadium Bastion in last September and by new property sales which commenced largely in second-half of 2006. The property and financial services provider said it property lettings revenue increased 14 pct in the period to 5.8 mln eur against 5.1 mln eur in the year-ago period, and added property lettings have continued a steady upward trend since the half year. The company also said it is confident in its longer term prospects, which remain strong. The company announced an interim dividend of 0.41 pence per share. |
