Good summary, faz. I hope it works out for you (and others)if you are invested. I just don't have the stomach for the risk/reward to be buying back in at this juncture.

So we have have had shouts for

a) problems with the audit sign off

b) difficulty raising funds for working capital to continue as a going concern

c) Cliff Peat on iii also suggested bad financial management as a possible reason for the delay

so just to be different my money is on:

d) Complications in closing the Accredit acquisition, possibly caused by longer than anticipated due diligence or the decline in DLM's share price

or:

e) They are close to announcing a further acquisition/deal which they wish to tie in with the results

From the outside it is almost comical Saucepan, although I doubt current holders feel the same. Whatever the outcome I suspect AH is loosing credibility by the day.

Whatever happens this is likely to be a learning moment for all involved. They raised £102k net in April and the same amount was raised for settlement fees. One scenario could well be that they have wanted to raise more and haven't found any willing participants. If they were insolvent one might have expected the shares to have been suspended by now. I am no expert in this regard.

I suspect the auditors finding something they don't like the look of is fairly likely, I wonder if it is in relation to one of the recent acquisitions stated figures.

Whatever the cause of these delays, it would seem to be something complicated if it is taking so long to reach agreement on signing off the accounts.

Interesting times.

BTW Saucepan, are you likely to attend srt agm?

You can only guess , mine would be auditors found something they didn't like and now questions are being asked ? Might relate to a recent acquisition ? Always a danger with some of these roll-up companies which try to run before they can walk.

Well well well fugwit.

As Victor Meldrew would say: "I don't believe it"!

I am also beginning to wonder if DLM themselves have One Foot in the Grave? Something is not right here. Whilst not necessarily directly connected to the results themselves, it is not inconceivable that they have burnt all their cash and found no way of raising more.

Not so fast Mr. Saucepan, you are forgetting the sneaky old 6.14pm RNS trick:

"Further to the announcement of 12 June 2012, the Company intends to publish the audited financial statements by 30 June 2012."

The 3rd delay......

Acta: I'd be interested in anything you find out from AH, if you are able to report it on a public bulletin board.

On the other hand, we will all probably be much wiser tomorrow morning, or DLM will have dug itself an even bigger hole if there is no RNS by the end of the week as promised.

What is going on here? Unbelievable lack of communication regarding the implications of these delays. I have contacted Andy Hassoon. Investors in the recent 0.2p placement must be absolutely gobsmacked.

.....looking back (always easy !)...I reckon my evaluation around the 0.2-.25 region was right...and that I was right to get out...the risk/reward was not so good imo....of course some risky ones defy the odds and rocket...

According to their last rns we should see their audited accounts this week, lets see if they manage it this time around.

Hi to all here!

I've been following DLM and previously IHP for a few years now, and although I have never bought any shares, I too have followed their development with interest. I feel that they are attempting to consolidate what is not only a fragmented market, but also a potentially very profitable market, and their low valuation could provide an opportunity for exponential gains for investors who time their entry well enough.

Having said that, there are several issues which have so far prevented me from dipping my toe in. Many of these issues have been highlighted here, and the delay in releasing the results is either a clever ploy for someone to accumulate shares at bargain prices, or an example of very bad IR and incompetency on behalf of the management. It could be that delay has been caused by complications in closing the Accredit acquisition, or to tie the results in with another acquisition, as we heard in the announcement of the Accredit acquisition that DLM are negotiating several acquisitions.

Whatever the reason, it worries me as a potential shareholder. Also the possibility of dilution makes me want to wait for the results and hopefully an explanation for the delay before re-considering an investment in DLM. All IMO

Noted your post, fugwit. I am very surprised this has not dropped much further. As you say, it could (just?) all be innocent; but on the other hand incompetence at best, or something far more invidious.

Oops. Could be completely innocent of course but that red flag just got a whole lot bigger. The cynic in me wonders if there is a dastardly plan afoot to get hold of extremely cheap stock by insiders, the realist thinks this is a display of incompetence.

Another interesting day coming I imagine......and all the while the price looks more interesting.....providing they are not imploding.

Edit: All seems quiet on the western front so far.

Yes, fugwit. For those of us viewing this from the outside 'interesting' is a good adjective. For holders, it must be an excruciatingly worrying time.

As a previous brief holder, I follow DLM with 'interest' and as a learning experience, and partly to monitor whether my decision to exit was a sound one.

What initially attracted me to the Company still remains (this includes both the niche market in which DLM is operating and Andy Hasoon's previous successes), but the three negatives that (in my opinion) outweigh these are:

1) the wider market sentiment (Europe and all that), which is dragging down even the best companies.

2) lack of cashflow - the dilution that has already occurred and what I fear is still to come.

3) the delayed results - that creates an unpleasant 'smell' and to, mix metaphors, there is usually 'no smoke without fire'.

I will read results with interest, but I am glad I can sleep this weekend without having to worry about them.

I'd be interested in the thoughts of others. I am not entirely averse to buying DLM back, but I now think it would take a lot to persuade me.

Down 36% for the day, results now due 12th June as missed previous 31st May. Anyone care to hazard a guess that those results are now finished given the share price reaction today? Should make for an interesting read Tuesday.

Did anyone make it to the presentation on the 10th?

You need to sign up for this, decent overview,

Not sure I agree that "From recent announcements it is clear that some good contracts are being won", unless I am missing something of course.

Holding up surprisingly well in the recent bloodbath.
