The three wins announced today (all from new, prestigous and influential customers) for body-worn video surveillance, facial recognition (two recent launches) and EdgeVis Live surveillance, show that some of the foundations that have been put in place are now gaining superstructure.

A short-term revolving credit facility is not intended to support structural operating losses. Given the level of cash outflow it would seem likely to me that they will need to raise some permanent capital

"... Net cash at the end of the period was £3.4m (H116: £5.9m), and since the period-end the Group has established a £10m revolving credit facility to help provide working capital to underpin further growth..."

Good results, revenue up 95% and typical margin on their own products at close to 50%, it won't be long before they break even and start making very healthy profits...

Quite happy with the Interims, out today.

Steady as they go re the numbers, given the investment in building and extending solid foundations. The quality and scale of the marketing infrastructure being developed and the initial results flowing from those key relationships are impressive.

Some of the phrasing shows how eager they are that readers should look further than the numbers.

SCSW view:

Digital Barriers - US$10m+ of orders for ThruVis

44p Epic code: DGB

(Sharewatch) There has been a string of announcements since September including US$10m of contracts with various US law enforcement agencies for its ThruVis camera technology for mass-transit security that can detect objects such as weapons and explosives concealed under clothing.
For the six months to end September, Digital Barriers said that sales, which will include Brimtek for the first time, are expected to be double that achieved last year. Both organic revenue and adjusted losses are expected to be broadly flat year-on-year, although neither of these include the benefit of material US government contracts, which will be delivered in H2. Including the September contract awards, the Group has secured approximately 50% of the Board's revenue expectation for the financial year as a whole. Strong hold.

Did anyone spot this article: http://www.airport-world.com/features/safety-security/5899-testing-times.htmlSeems trials are ongoing at a few transport terminals... I do like the technology here and can see a very bright future.

It will shortly. As always patience required. Results in 5 days. Should be very good. This share needs to be noticed and then just a domino effect. I did my research a few days ago and bought in.

Good spot Leo. Seems a good chance of them taking it, but Malaysian authorities are notoriously slow in getting things done, so i wouldn't put a time limit on it happening.

In today's RNS good to see the growth now being provided by Brimtek having replacing the decline previously arising from the now disposed of Services Division. (Sterling job though they did earlier.)

I see it as a strong, encouraging statement despite the H1 adjusted loss being expected to remain flat YoY. I wonder what part the constraint stemming from [lack of] stock availability played in that. And to what degree it contributed also to the distinction between "organic revenue" and "organic contracted revenue", although some of that is likely due to contracts being signed late in the period and so not realistically able to be delivered and invoiced, whatever the stock.

Yes, sounds promising:

Eric Alexander, Managing Director, G4S Events commented:

"G4S is embracing cutting edge-technology and working with industry partners such as Digital Barriers to provide solutions that protect the public from sophisticated and covert threats. G4S is supporting this technology as a unique way to secure event venues, significantly enhancing traditional security measures such as metal detectors and baggage checks.

"ThruVis provides a higher level of protection and deterrence whilst reducing queue times, improving the visitor experience, and because it's a passive camera it does so without any issues of safety or privacy. Given recent events we see this as an inevitable additional security measure that will rapidly become commonplace."

Re today's RNS, G4S should indeed be an effective channel for deployment:
