03/1/2012 11:34 | lyonst5 , default position is that you will retain your shareholding . | flyfisher
03/1/2012 11:32 | you dont take up the offer i would have thought.... | moreforus
03/1/2012 11:31 | A quick question, i'm currently overseas at the moment, what is the default position if i cant get the offer document returned ? | lyonst5
03/1/2012 11:25 | Don't forget, there is a choice in this matter; you can remain as shareholders if you wish, with the shares retaining their AIM listing. I will take the cash, thank you very much! | tiltonboy
03/1/2012 11:15 | Sippdeal deadline not until 6th. The whole deal (from initial listing) stinks but what alternative do we have than to take the cash. Surely some of the larger shareholders should be asking questions? | alanji
03/1/2012 09:15 | Seen naff-all press; nominee deadline means I'm accepting it today, will see what major shareholders have done after the 9th. Doesn't feel like anyone's going to oppose it but would be nice to see a viable alternative. If not, I'm having the 42p cash. | spectoacc
23/12/2011 11:24 | enviro , the situation here reminds me of a comment by hosede on aim stocks , to the effect that most aim stocks exist to enrich the directors and not the shareholders. if you hold, i would be interested to know if you will accept the offer or hold on. | flyfisher
23/12/2011 10:30 | The non-binding suggestion of keeping the AIM listing is interesting; inclined to accept the bid, in spite of the bad smell around it. | spectoacc
23/12/2011 10:19 | great thanks. | hugepants
23/12/2011 10:13 | HP, Sorry, posted wrong link. Correct one there now. | tiltonboy
23/12/2011 10:12 | Thanks. Ive seen that one. I thought there was another document released after that one but looks like I'm mistaken. | hugepants
23/12/2011 10:05 | is the offer document online anywhere? | hugepants
21/12/2011 20:37 | Well IMO someone needs to oust the board and install a few people with the will and motivation to realise the true value here. Clearly the Assets do exist as the offer would not have been made. Only a matter of months ago Cygnet was showing it was worth far more than what was paid. I'm sure it feels fine for the most recent shareholders of this September onwards to make a quick return, but for the majority who are being asked to take massive losses nearly up to 75% it must be a distinctly unattractive proposition. I guess it all depends on the level of apathy and complacency of the shareholders. | envirovision
21/12/2011 17:54 | Interesting that they intend to keep the AIM listing if the offer goes unconditional. | tiltonboy
21/12/2011 16:14 | That's the doc posted; first closing date 1pm 11th Jan. That'll give us an idea if any major s/holders holding out. | spectoacc
21/12/2011 15:00 | Thanks @Wexboy. | spectoacc
21/12/2011 14:40 | AStock, i bet Project Cygnet will complete after the new owners get hold of dhir, and for over 100p a share, imo | daytraders
21/12/2011 14:36 | MacKenzie Cundill (MacKenzie bought Cundill Funds (Peter Cundill)) was previously disclosed as having a 10.0% stake. | wexboy
21/12/2011 13:45 | Once the offer document is posted, it will look like a done deal, unless it gets blocked by enough of the major shareholders (all of whom should have RNS'd holdings over 3% and movements of those holdings, IMO). My question, however, remains - why did Project Cygnet not complete, why was this not announced, why has it now been written down by c.35p per share, and why no comment considering the ultimate manager of Cygnet is behind bidding for the reduced-NAV co. | astock
21/12/2011 13:31 | Yes something not right here, looks like there getting the assets very cheap, feel for the 80p/90p holders from earlier this year. | daytraders
21/12/2011 09:43 | Morning all, So an outcome of sorts with the offer for the company. But admit it does all smell a bit fishy. I guess that non UK holders are not required to declare when they pass 3%, but when there is an offer on the table all holders are required to disclose when they change more than 1%. Added quite a few more of these over the past weeks, so i'am happy, but i will be happier when the cat is in the bag and money is in my account. | lyonst5
21/12/2011 09:30 | Mackenzie Financial were not on the share register at 27th Sept and have only just made a disclosure. Foul play or what ? | envirovision |
