FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
1 February 2010
DEVELICA DEUTSCHLAND MANAGEMENT LIMITED APPOINTS MANAGING DIRECTOR

Develica Deutschland Limited ("DDL"), the AIM listed German property investor,
today announces that its fund manager, Develica Deutschland Management Limited
("DDM"), has appointed Lars Luecking as Managing Director with effect from 1
February 2010.

Lars joins DDM from Citi Global Markets and Hypo Real Estate (formerly
HypoVereinsbank) where he spent 10 years collectively in senior roles. Prior to
those roles he worked for several years in corporate finance with KPMG in
Frankfurt.

Grant Tromans, a director of both DDL and DDM, said on behalf of DDM:
"DDM welcome the appointment of Lars Luecking as Managing Director and look
forward to the benefits his extensive experience in European real estate will
bring.

Lars has a wealth of experience in European real estate, especially in asset
management, debt restructuring and valuation. He has the ideal skill set to
oversee the day-to-day running of DDM and ensure that the fund manager is in a
position to take full advantage of the anticipated upturn in the German economy
and the consequent revival in the German real estate market."

Derek Butler, Chairman of DDL, said "DDL also welcomes the further strengthening
of the DDM team and the additional skills and experience this appointment will
bring".

Ends.

I wonder if the directors are going to buy on any more weakness? Im very tempted if this drops below 4p to buy some more as the directors obviously see value and have bought in large amounts.

================================

4p ? what an idiot

I know not many people are looking in here, but has anyone else noticed that whilst the bid/offer seem to be changing through the day ADVFN are not changing their price or graph?

In Continental Europe the investment environment continues to vary considerably. France and Germany are set to see most of the investment activity in 2010 while re-pricing in other countries continues at varying speeds and Central Eastern Europe continues to be paralyzed.

European investment to rise by 20% in 2010

The French and German markets will show higher levels of liquidity in 2010, the research said, however as yields compress in the larger markets other European markets will benefit.

Nigel Roberts, chairman of European research, said: "Other beneficiaries are likely to be in the Nordics and Central Europe where specific markets can offer prime product with improving market fundamentals."

but........the history of these aim german property plays (see summit dld, etc) suggest that the most likely outcome is a derisory bid from insiders followed by delisting - with neg shareholders funds, an offer of say, 1c could be justified

btw the uk commercial property market is very different from the german one - i know because i am in both physically
