Hi Sleepy - yep, traded in and out a bit but back in on that dip.

Cup and Handle breakout on the chart here by the look of it.

3D printing going to get a lot of coverage over the coming year imo.

Chart curving up.

A lot of fuss about 3D printers recently - spectacular trading update in Jan?

PBT up 67% in H1

Hybrasil - good to hear from you
Am normally a "value" investor but this is one of a very small number of tech shares I have ever owned. Also one of John Lees holdings
I believe it is much more profitable than the numbers in the accounts show as software development costs are written off as incurred.
Invested heavily in product development and foreign distribution in recent years and good sales increases from Asia and Americas in today's numbers
Has the possibility of doubling sales over the next 4 or 5 years which at an incremental margin of 25% would give potential for profits of £13 million pa giving EPS of c £1.20.
May be bought out by Renishaw a 20% shareholder, hopefully at £14/£15 in short term taking into account growth prospects, understated profitability and cash. Would expect over £20 if it happens in 3 years time

M.T - very worried when I saw you posting on this thread! Assume you don't think it's a short!

"..Trading in the first five months of the financial year has been ahead of the same period last year, with royalties from software and maintenance licences increasing by 14% over that period year on year. Accordingly, first half results are expected to set a new record for a half year and the Board believes that Delcam is likely to deliver pre-tax profits for the financial year which are ahead of current market forecasts..."

Sleepy,
No I didn't attend the agm(this year or last), but have held shares for a number of years.

They didn't issue one last year either (not even a 'all resolutions duly passed' statement - I guess it's company policy.

Anyone any idea why there wasn't an IMS today?

Regretfully, I agree.
We're in a presidential election & the two favourites are the same spin artists as ever.
Problem is with people/electorate who need to live fairy tales despite being "adult" so they don't want/vote for realists who tell it how it is.

Well, nice timing if I say so myself :-)

Looked like there wasn't a lot of stock about on Friday.

Good set of results for Delcam but I think this share is fully values at the current price. Dividend remains miserly as always.

Would like to see progress on the dividend this year. An improved dividend would get more peoples attention in the current climates.

As a shareholder of long-standing, I see 650p as too high but the market here is thin and, if I sold a few, I might have trouble buying them back.
This is usually a very quiet thread and the present buzz may soon fade away.
For me it is a "core holding" but I suspect that Renishaw will eventually buy us out.
