Answer the question, fusey: what are your qualifications for giving public investment advice? And why do you not apologise to the people you have robbed?

kiwihope i suggest you do thorough research on EKT they will have net cash of about £2 million by year end and nearer £3 million next year.

I did tell you on the Fool site that it would motor and that it is doing.

Up from 2.5p 3 years ago.

Moreover nett assets up from £1 million 3 years ago to £6.2 million now.

By year end nett assets will be about £7 million !


That is a remarkable perpermance since the transformation of the company the last 2.5 years.

More will follow...a new divison has been created and new product launch imminent!!!

I know fusebox is a pain in the neck and I don't share his bullish view for EKT, but I have to say he is right about Deltron. Except for those who bought in the last few months an investment in this company would have been a disaster.

You could perhaps start by apologising to all those you have robbed by pretending to knowledge that you do not possess, and to your betters (such as paulypilot) whose errors are dwarfed by yours.

How on earth can you say you're 'fully loaded with EKT', oh Wise-one, when YOU know its going to treble in price again.

As the saying goes 'Never look a gift horse in the mouth'. If I was as certain as you are that something was going to treble, I'd re-mortgage the house - but presumably you've done that already of course!

Im already fully loaded with EKT and very happy indeed.

Sad day for Deltron shareholders...its not a cash offer therefore dumping going on now in the market.

I have been right though...us see its the end of the road now for Deltron and never did catch up to Elektron.

This puts a trebling of the price on Elektron from here now in due course!

This is not a good price for Deltron they have massively underperfomed EKT the last 2 years. 20% behind the market this year alone.

No this is good news u see it puts a far higher value on Elektron now!

This thread was set up to compare the 2 companies...now Deltron says... "The Deltron Directors estimate that Deltron's profit
before tax, goodwill amortisation and exceptional items will not be less than
#2.5 million for the financial year ended 30 September 2005. The Deltron Group
intends to announce its preliminary results for the year ended 30 September 2005
on or around 22 November 2005."

The offer values Deltron at £28 million!

Now Elektron is forecast £2 million for this year however Deltron has masses of goowill and debt.

Tsking all this into account Elektron must be worth at least the same.

EKT's market cap is about 11.5 million that sais we are looking at 2 to 3 times the share price.

Going forward the prospects are far better for Elektron as they will be driving profits forward the next few years. particularly as they have created a new division.

LONDON (ShareCast) - Deltron Electronics roared into action today after the electronic component distributor confirmed that it was in takeover talks.

"The board of Deltron notes the recent movement in its share price and confirms that it is in discussions with a third party which may or may not lead to a recommended offer being for the company," said Deltron.

There can be no certainty that agreement will be reached and an offer made, added Deltron.

The news recouped much of Deltron's recent losses with the share snow back at levels seen in May, though still down nearly 20% on the year.

It happened with AFC yesterday there were some hefty chunks sold and the mms hiked the price up.

There were 2 big sells yesterday 125,000 and 250,000 !

Market makers attemting to rig the market and make double the profit!!!

Thanks..even wthout a bid EKT is looking very exciting. While the mall stocks taken a knock EKT bearing up quite well.

New product launch very shortly and buybacks and enhanced divi will bolster the share price of EKT so am very happy.
