Don't just blame the bankers.

The polatitians wanted easy credit to keep the good times rolling. Greenspan duely obliged with the odd warning of irrational exuberance and more importantly warned over government spending. I think Greenspan was smart enough to realise what was going to happen but the Clinton, Bush kept on the pressure not to rock the boat too much. Bernake on the other hand can't be all that bright otherwise why on earth would he have taken on the job? Their was no hope in hell that he was ever going to save the situation.

7% yields are widely acknowledged as the watershed, so worth keeping an eye on the S and I's.

Belgian creeping back up again to recent highs too, although still calm for now...

"I've been following this company for the last couple months. I like it, but this website only gives me a delayed quote - so far, the only way to get a free real time stock quote that I've found is at www.vantagewire.com GLTA"

"I have been looking for my next investment in the mineral resource sector and do most of my due diligence on www.vantagewire.com because they give free real-time quotes but I cant make up my mind on whether or not I should just stick to gold (play it safe) or potentially diversify...thoughts? "
